This is not a yellow lacquered color and does not have a hard finish.
Water easily absorbs into the wood.
I was missing an angle 90. They are cheap but I was disappointed.
I gave it four stars because it is exactly as it was advertised minus an angle 90.
They are slight smaller than I expected but the do fit the dimensions given by the seller. This table is very sturdy and easy to stain without any prep work.
I bought two of these. When I first opened the package I was very please with the quality of the wood and the apparent simplicity of the assembly. However, that was not the case. Putting the top on was very easy. In putting the L shaped braces (for the shelf) the pilot holes on the legs for the screws were a little small but it made for a tight fit. One of the tables had two legs with the pilot holes on one side of the leg and two legs with the pilot holes on a different side. It worked but looked strange because the L brackets faced different ways. This wood is very hard and dense (a good thing) unless you dont have pilot holes. It is impossible to screw the screws into the shelf without pilot holes. So now I have to drill the pilot holes myself which, of course, makes the assembly that much more difficult. If the shelves and all legs had proper pilot holes I would have raved about this product and given it 5 stars.
This table is pretty high quality/ made of all wood, and all the screws/holes matched up perfectly. I painted it and it matches perfectly in size and shape. Great value for the money. I couldnt be happier.
I used this table to make a fly rod tube holder. Ideal size and good value. I made twelve 3 holes in both the top and bottom shelf and the table remained very solid. Used a pre/stain wood conditioner before staining and it turned out much better than expected considering the top and shelf are made from several pieces of parawood glued and joined together. Finished with coats of polyurethane. Easy to assemble. If you put in a little time and elbow grease, this table is a good value no matter how you might use it
Disregard / there is no drill needed. The reason the legs come in pairs while packaged is because they belong to one another / on each leg, about 3 inches from the bottom, you will see one small pre/drilled hole for your screw for attachment of the L bracket. Match them on opposite, lengthwise, ends and you are good to go / no need for pre/drilled holes on the lower panel itself, the wood is easy to screw into without a guide, and is otherwise, very solid and sturdy.
Far better than expected / already have a second in my cart. Perfect for printers, or as I use, ends to extend my desk. Very, very pleased with my purchase and plan to buy again.

Great product. My husband is picky about furniture pieces being cheap. He was impressed
Solid piece of furniture with an alternate use
