    Comfortable to grip, smooth operating

Start a morning ritual. Grind beans for fresher taste while the water is heating. The opening for the beans in the top of the grinder is a bit awkward because it is not large, and sometimes one must move the handle a bit to find the opening. But, once the beans are loaded, the grinder operates smoothly. There are selections for different coarseness of grinds most appropriate to the brewing method. The small hopper inside the larger hopper holds enough ground coffee for two good sized mugs, while the larger, outer hopper would hold coffee for four mugs. The grinder holds enough beans for four cups of coffee. The grinder doesnt take up a lot of space / about the amount of space a large coffee mug would take in the cupboard or on a shelf.

    Great buy!

Love the adjustability! Works great for my percolator!

    Its great!

Works well as expected. Much better than an electric grinder for a French press coffee maker. Squeaky at first but quieted down after a few days of use. Its well worth the minimal expense.

    Exactly what I wanted

This burr grinder is easy to use and easy to take apart to rinse/clean. It doesnt take too much elbow grease to grind the beans. I get a nice fresh grind in the morning. For my one or two cups, it is perfect. I use it with both my Chemex and my Frech press on the coarsest setting. I have been so happy with the results that I have not even used it for my Aeropress yet, but I will. I had been looking at the more expensive metal burr grinder that has a ton of reviews and it rated super high. The 40+ was enough of a deterrent, that I did not pull the trigger. I was also a bit worried about the cleanup and the metal and the heaviness of the grinder. Then, I found this one for 18 with plastic parts. Sold! And I am glad I went for it. I think the metal one is taller and slimmer than this one, but it still doesnt take up much space. So that is good. It is intuitive how it works. Stop reading this review. Buy the darn thing! It is well worth the money!

Well made. Does a good job.

I got this to use day as I have a large electric grinder but its very loud and annoying to use at the crack of dawn. It actually does a better job than my electric one as far as consistent grind.

Totally pleased with this coffee grinder

Due to COVID/19 policy I can no longer grind my coffee beans at my grocery store. I have been using the Hand Coffee Mill daily now for the last several months and could not be more pleased with it. It seems to be rugged and well designed. I have not found any routine cleaning necessary since it grinds directly from the burrs into the base receptacle. The smaller receptacle insert requires about 200 cranks to fill completely, which is exactly the amount of ground coffee that I need for my stovetop moka pot.

    First time grinding coffee!

I needed a manual coffee setup for my RV setup so that I could save all of that solar energy for other essentials like TV! So I opted for the manual grinder and french press instead of a traditional coffee maker. This thing is great! I love that there are 5 settings for coarseness and its very easy to use! In hindsight, I might still want an electric or battery/powered grinder as a backup for when I have guests, but I love this one too. Plus its a mini bicep workout!

    Great value

I had never ground my own coffee beans before but I bought this because I felt it was a good value. I was right. Its very easy to use, very smooth, very sturdy and again, it was a great price.
