The old days of truly fine hardwood furniture are mostly past. Today we more commonly find manufactured wood with, perhaps, thin veneers of the real thing for appearance, or, as here. hard
painted surfaces.
This changeover started with cheap junk and, today, has moved on to well designed and well constructed pieces such as this storage sideboard.
What struck me here was the quality, ease of putting it together, and overall good design.
Size/wise it (obviously) is what it is. Big enough. Small enough.
For my use this was just right.
It went together smoothly. The only thing lacking in the instructions for me was the fact that the upper door slides, which are spring loaded, can LOCK in their lower position. Then be released by pushing the slide button. Not knowing that made the installation of the first door a bit of a challenge, while having discovered it made the installation of the 2nd a breeze.
Very pleased! Solid, useful and visually appealing. A good and, I expect, lasting value.
I was looking for cabinets to put under the breakfast bar since we dont use it and I dont have many kitchen cabinets.
These were not hard to put together and look pretty good.
Price wasnt horrible, but these are not heavy duty either.
I thought they would be white and they are pale yellow. Fortunately my walls are very close to that color.
You can see the roll of shelf liner is white to compare the color. Seems sturdy enough
I got this for my dining room as extra storage. It is a gorgeous dark color. It looks much more expensive than it was. My husband put it together in about 2 hours. It is more sturdy than I expected. I give it an A+
I bought two of these to stack / they are small / check the measurements. I knew that ahead, so I bought two / since they say stackable. And they are stackable if you leave the top off the bottom one, and feet off the top one / but there is no real way to secure them together, besides the dowels between each on both ends. They are reasonably easy to assemble/ the directions are lame, pictures only / no words. There is a damaged piece for me, I am hoping since it is on the inside, it will have no bearing. I had hoped to put some small kitchen appliances inside to get them off the counter, but this is not deep enough by a couple inches. It is a nice looking piece. The back must face a wall / the cardboard backing is screwed in. I was not able to screw the top of either backing on. The doors slide easily. There are three options for the shelf height inside. Overall, a nice piece. Probably pricier than it is worth, but I didnt see any cheaper units anywhere for a similar unit. it worth buying it

Nice extra storage
Not as tall but good extra storage.
Not bad
A little smaller than I expected but thats my fault because it clearly states the measurements. All in all pretty good Thank you.
