This futon is quality! I shopped for a long time and sat on many until I found this one on . I read the reviews and almost all were 5 stars (only one was 4 stars). Trusting the reviews and tired of shopping, I bought the futon and what a great decision that was. We have yet to sleep on it but its comfortable as a couch. It took a while to assemble but was worth it!
Despite some negative reviews, my experience with the futon has been quite positive. It shipped well and arrived in great shape. The frame is sturdy and well made. Some folks mentioned that they didn’t receive enough buttons to cover the screw holes but I had enough. I chose the hunter green and just a warning, it is darker than the picture. But that was fine- worked out well. Not sure why they didn’t use colored thread instead of white for seam work. Doesn’t make much sense. I guess what was most frustrating were the instructions, which I didn’t feel were clear at all. It took a few minutes to understand how to raise and lower the frame. You definitely would benefit from two people putting this together. My son has used the mattress when he visited and said it was quite comfortable. There was a slight smell, but I expected that with foam. However, since it’s been out of the box and aired out, it’s hardly noticeable. Very happy with the purchase and feel like it was money well spent.
This is,a great frame thats easy to assemble using the enclosed instructions and hardware. I replaced the Futon/sofa in my 31 ft. trailer with this unit and the 8 mattress. The best decision Ive made... should have done it a long time ago.
Like the finish of the wood. The red breaks up the darkness, but Id like just a darker shade of red. Very comfortable. Easy to fold or turn into a bed. Directions were clear on how to assemble. Had it together in 2 hours. Fits decently in a studio apartment. Very durable. Feels like it will hold up for a long time.
Product was not difficult to build but Highly recommend someone to help assist with the assembly or it will most likely take longer to build. Took about an hour to build and was super comfty when it was all done.
The sofa was very easy to install. No fuss. Straight to the point. The brown one looks very good. Exactly what I was looking for as far as looking slightly distressed and rugged but in a classy way. Its 80 inches and feels pretty sturdy. It’s comfortable and I’m happy with the purchase. I think this product is priced a little too high but it’s a good product so… it’s fine. You can dress it up quite nicely and it makes for a great accent piece.
I didnt realize how big it actually was, but Ill make it work. I initially bought this for additional seating and guest mattress in my small-ish computer room. I didnt think that it would be slanted (have so much depth) as much as it is, but it makes sense in order to keep a futon from sliding off.
Build quality is good, but almost all of the wooden buttons that came with it to cover up screw holes were cut too small and will not stay in place.
It is pretty easy to use if the mattress is not on it. I have a pretty thick mattress and I think its virtually impossible to change it from couch to sleeper. Even without the mattress, it can be a bit finnicky to work with.

Great replacement unit for your trailer, dorm or family room.
