It took me a lot of hours to put it together. Not hard. Just a lot of parts. I dont have a lot of room, hence the storage bed, and a bad back. Got it done and love it. I added a couple vintage speakers in the front cubbies. Lots of drawers, shelves and storage.
After 10 long hours, the bed frame looks nice and feels sturdy, however. Im not sure what the other reviews meant when they said it didnt take a long time....it took me 10 hours to do by myself and that was with no breaks. This was half with a drill, half without. A lot of the places to screw dont have holes so those were a nightmare. The last hour I had someone helping, otherwise it wouldve taken so much longer. Some of the boards came warped which didnt help the stress at the end.
I read all the reviews staying to jump on buying this if youre on the fence, they were right! Its the lowest price for this model and its such great quality for the price. You can feel how sturdy each piece is, and assembled even sturdier. Only a few confusing parts of the build, like they switch which piece is on which side of the page from one step to the next, but overall easy to follow and assemble. A lot of people complain about the build time. Yes, it takes forever, but look at the build! I did it by myself over 8-10 hours (spanned 2 afternoons). Other note is the drawers were smaller than expected, I hoped to pack with clothing so just double check those dimensions! Absolutely love this bed frame overall, so happy!
This platform came in two shipments totalling four boxes, two of the boxes are identical and the first box I opened had a sticker stating box 1/4. That was the box with the instructions. The instructions were fairly clear to understand. Make sure you assemble this in the room you want it in and make sure you have an extra 4-5 feet of clearance beyond where the bed will go to use as an assembly area because you are building three sections separately then assembling them in place. It is very sturdy despite the individual sections being quite light. I only gave it 4 stars because during assembly I came across two spots that had knots in the wood, yes these are wood not particle board. These two knots just happened to be where screws needed to go so it split the wood. I intend to keep the bed despite this because they are in locations that are not visible and do not affect the stability. If not for that I would have given five stars. ***Suggestion for seller / manufacturer*** this value and usefulness of this item could be greatly improved if you could build it in a way that the empty void under the bed could be made accessable by the buyers for storage, in my case I would slide in an under bed gun safe. Perhaps on the side sections add a swivel and latch on opposite side so that the side sections can swing away allowing access to that void. Outside of that I love this item great job.

It does take a while to put together. Plan to have an extra person to help. My husband and I were able to put it together in about 6 hours.
The product comes in four boxes. Box one and four are labeled, Fox is two and three are the same for the sides of the bed and I didn’t see that they were labeled but it wasn’t an issue.
All pieces are labeled which makes this very helpful. I put the hardware in little piles and placed the boards in order and we were able to get through all the steps without issue.
It will take time so bring your patience with you!
When completed it was very solid and heavy. Probably don’t plan on moving it ever again!

Thank you to the team who designed the bed and for generous extras included. 4 total boxes and the smallest one included the instruction; I opened each box and kept items in it separated from other boxes; It took me about 9hrs to assemble it by myself; it was pretty easy to follow instructions; the only minor set back was the few holes were missing and drawer not alligned; asside from that, this bed is amazing!!!!!!
My bedroom is very small! That bed fits perfectly and the storage area is very useful. My husband and I assembled it for two evenings after working days. It’s sturdy, comfortable and very good looking bed! I would recommend it to everyone!
We downsized majorly a few years ago and our regular furniture for a regular large home with plenty of closet and storage space was not working here. I looked for 2 years for a platform bedframe that I liked the looks of and was also quality. Our master bedroom only has one bifold door closet and there is no linen closet at all. This bed is the solution we needed. It’s absolutely solid with no squeaking no matter the activity.
As a few reviewers have said, there is a lot of unused and inaccessible space underneath the bed that could have been used to make deeper drawers, but surprisingly everything I needed to store fits in the storage areas of this bed. I especially love the large storage on either side of the bed that holds my extra king size down comforters perfectly.
I misread that it took only a couple of hours to put this bed together, so five hours later at 10pm we were exhausted after assembling the bed. It definitely takes two people and is definitely a 5 hour project unless you’re a pro. We had an issue with one of the curved bolts in the frame becoming stripped and the company sent out new ones after contacting them. This is a great company to deal with through messaging here on , which is great too!
Paired with the wicker headboard, this bed completes the coastal decor I was going for while solving our storage issues too. Love it and highly recommend this bed.
