I was surprised to receive 3 boxes of parts! The instructions were relatively clear, therefore, the installation went fairly quickly. It has not been easy finding boxes to fit into the various compartments. Also, I had originally purchased an adjustable base with a memory-foam mattress. When the mattress was delivered, I was informed that the base would not work with our storage bed. That was disappointing!
Very satisfied with the bed and it’s overall sturdiness as well as appealing looks. It took many hours to assemble but the instructions were pretty easy to follow most of the time.
This bed is VERY sturdy and not cheaply made. Take your time and follow instructions. There are 4 boxes of materials and instructions are only pictures - no written. We made one mistake and were able to correct it without having to take everything apart.
This bed is solid wood and is beautiful. It did take a couple of evenings after work to put together but it wasn’t that bad. The directions were good and all pieces were there. The first 3 boxes came a day before the 4th and I got a little worried and contacted the seller. They reassured me that sometimes UPS delivers them separately and they should be there the next day - which is what happened.
Very very hard to put together. Took to much time. Crummy mdf. Never worth the money we paid. $500. People can buy a real car for that money!!! Waste of time and money!! Waste of money!! Waste of money.
I havent used all the storage yet but I love this bed. It looks stylish and lovely. Took a looot of hours for me to do. I started with help but still went almost 4 hours working on it. I finished the bed in another 4-5 or so hours by myself.
First of all, this bed frame when assembled looks great, and is very sturdy. I was surprised when 4 large boxes arrived, however this is part of the process of building the frame. Each section is separated into a different box. Starting at box one, then two, and so on. My wife and I were able to get this built in about 4 hours or so. Having an impact screw gun and a rubber mallet for assembly is something I would recommend. Be careful not to strip out any of the pine with the screws.

Its a two person job. I could have never figured this out without my husband.
