I was looking for a bag that fits the requirement of air travel with Lufthansa. This one was 2 cm lower than the max height. My cat is not a big but is adult and weights only 3.8 kg. Standing the measurement from toe to shoulder is 28 cm high. How can Lufthansa ask for such a low profile of 23 cm?
To put an adult cat in this carrier would be very uncomfortable. I will not torture my Fanny. I have returned this carrier to .
I was looking for a bag a bit higher but flexible enough to be pushed under the seat at take off and landing. Most of the carrier that could be pushed have no structure and would fall on the animal at any moment.
This bag is very low but very sturdy and of good quality. The height of the animal inside should not be higher than 18.5 cm from toe to shoulder otherwise it will not fit. Most pictures of pet carriers strangely are with kittens so young that they might not have the right to travel on a plane. So it gives a false idea.
There are comments from people who say that they travel with their cat of 16 pounds...I dont think so.
I found a bag that has a good structure and can be pushed under the seat. The height is for the medium size 30cm high a can adapt to 23 cm. The company who makes those bags is Sturdi products, a bit pricy but there are no alternative.
This has worked with our small dogs because we havent left them inside the carrier for more than an hour or so at a time. This was also adequate to hold 2 4 lbs chihuahuas comfortably. The top unzips as does the side, but youll probably use the top flap more than anything. The carrier itself is fine, but the walls are thin and the mesh is really thin. Although my dogs havent tried to break out yet, as soon as they take a whack at it, those thin walls arent going to hold them in. An angry cat could probably tear out of this quickly.
Overall, this is a budget carrier and if you have strong pets or chewers, this might not last.
well i thought it was good until I could not put it together the two long poles that go on top there was no holes for them to go in I got my money back they sewed over the holes so the white poles could not go in to hold it up on top
This pet carry-on was absolutely perfect. It is as small as it needed to be to fit under the seat of every airline. The base can be washed, and kept sanitary should your pet have an accident. The fitted, mattress that lines the base is removable and cosy. The mesh is dark, but could potentially let your curious pet see outside, while still being safely tucked into their container.

My cat was perfectly comfortable.
Took my cat on a plane. No problems at all! He’s around 13-14 lbs and did well.
Too low for the comfort of my cat

Very roomy for a small dog.
Mesh sides allows pet to see on all sides. Very sturdy material and shoulder straps.
