When tightening the screws the metal folds, gives in easily. Some of the metal tubes had minor imperfections, holes and just werent flush on the ends. The shelves dont stay together well with just the wooden dowels, going to probably add some glue to mine. Overall good looking desk though and not bad for the price, I saved 30 on mine due to a sale.
I got this desk because I am a college student and I will be finishing my degree at my parents house. The three shelves are great for storing books and dvds. I put my tv on the top shelf so I could get rid of a cube organizer that wasnt serving a whole lot of function. The assembly kit came with the exact amount of parts, a drill bit that fits the specific screws (which I really appreciated), and extra parts just in case. Overall, the desk is extremely sturdy and the wood is very nice. I would say that it is easier to assemble with 2 people, but could definitely be done on ones own. The price is exactly right for the quality.
This desk arrived sooner than I was told which was great! I was excited to receive it early as Ive been looking for a desk for a while. It was not only easy to assemble, with clear instructions, but the seller also included a lovely hand written note thanking me for my purchase. Its sturdy, well/made and provides plenty of room for my large desktop, laptop and accessories. It also sits high enough so my computer chair fits comfortably pushed under it. I would recommend this desk to anyone that is looking for this size desk and a great product for the price!

I am using the desk as my crafting table and storage. I had an extra black board from another project that happened to be the exact size to add to the under desk shelf to make it a full shelf. This piece is NOT included because it makes this item fairly unusable as an actual desk since it keeps my knees from going under, but as Im not using it for a desk its perfect for me.
Ive had this desk in use for 4 months now and Im still super impressed. None of the shelves have sagged even with heavy weight on them.
