Overall, I like the desk. It looks nice and is a good value. At least its engineered wood (vs particle board, like others in this price range).
My only complaint is that the dimensions in the drawing are a bit deceiving. While its true the total width is 9, that includes the braces. The shelves themselves are only ~ 6.5 wide and 3.5 tall for the back piece. So it fits a box of tissues and a picture frame but not tall books or file holders. Would be nice if it were at least 8 wide.
Desk is the perfect size for my home office and large enough for 2 monitors. Easy to assemble with step by step instructions. Desk is very sturdy and has a nice finish.
Very pleased with my new computer desk and hutch. It is sturdy yet light enough to be easily moved. My adult son and a friend put it together in a little better than one hour. There were a comforting amount of extra parts. And it looks wonderful. Felt we invested well.
It is exactly like the picture, very easy to assemble it even comes with all the tools you need to assemble it. Very sturdy and I love how it has so many shelves and soo much desk space. 10/10
This desk is a great value and sturdy. Unfortunately, the metal bar at the bottom is right at our electrical outlets. I ran an extended surge protector but even so, the cords that need to reach the desk (laptop, printer, etc) all run up where more metal is since the whole thing is wrapped in metal. Also, the shelves at the top are not deep enough to hold a book/ even sideways. They fall off.
For the price of the desk you cant beat it. I really only had 2 dislikes… its not the easiest to assemble and its not as sturdy as I would like. Other than that its great I would definitely recommend for someone on a budget
My daughters love the extra space and shelving. I love how quick and easy it was to put together: (2) people / 40 min to 1hr, (1) person / I.5 to 2hrs. Note, it works best with 2 people lining up the parts, but once snug, one person can complete the job with ease. Just do the bottom half first, then the top; put it where you want, then add the completed Hutch on top with the two bolts provided. It took me a few extra minutes to assemble because I wanted to add an under mount keyboard tray. Theres plenty of room for a larger Monitor and Ive ordered a CPU stand to increase the desktop area, but the girls have a lot more space than before. Great Desk for under 200 and there was a discount special, when I purchased. Fast Free Shipping, got it in 4 days! A++++
