    Sturdy bunk bed

I have a lot of grandchildren and decided to purchase two of these triple bunk beds. I think these bunk beds more than meet my needs. The bunk bed is quite sturdy. It isnt difficult to assemble, but it is tedious with a hundred or so screws to fasten. The beds come with required screws and 6mm allen/hex key. I used and recommend using an electric drill/driver to greatly speed up the assembly process. I used a 5/32 inch hex bit, which worked fine. The instructions are typical made/in/china instructions and take some effort to interpret. There are two types of corner posttwo of each type. If you look at them closely, you could conclude that there should be four unique corner post variants. That said, four variants are not required to assemble the bed. The post can be oriented 180 degrees off during the initial assembly. Despite efforts to get it right the first time, on both of my two beds I had to correct a post. You cannot complete the final assembly if the posts are not correctly oriented. Some aspect of the assembly will be much easier with a helper. A minor complaint is the safety labels that stuck on the frame are difficult to remove. They have lawyer/driven statements to not remove the labels, but why would anyone want visible large ugly white labels on the black frame. The mattresses were separately purchased from . Went together easily

    Strong sturdy bed!

I am very happy I chose this bed for my grandchildrens room. It was relatively easy to assemble. I assembled it by myself with the exception of attaching the top bunk. The key to building this is to NOT fully tighten any of the hardware until you are COMPLETELY finished. I am confident it will outlast the need for my 9 grandchildren. I love it.

If you have the patience and knowledge this is good bargain.

The first issue was the box arrived damaged, thankfully noting inside was damaged. This product was very hard to put together. If my husband did not have the knowledge that he has Im not sure if it would have been strong enough to support the grandchildren. Holes did not line up so he had to use different methods to line them up. Some of the nuts in the frame came lose when trying to screw the bolt in. He had to drill those out and insert a new lock nut, this happen in Step 1 and took over an hour to fix the issue so we could move on. After hours and hours of work and frustration we did get them together and the grandchildren love it. I would be returning

Some hole alignments were way off.

Putting this up by yourself is difficult, but doable. My big complaint is several of the predrilled holes dont line up making it very difficult to assemble correctly, and make screws tight for correct use. One of the long screws had a flaw in the hex as if it had been stripped, so it was unusable, and A replacement bought. As well as on set of screw holes for the top bunk rail where off so much the holes half over lapped so a drill and hole bit was used to make the holes line up so the screws could go through the leg pipe and into the rail. The tallest ladder was also a pain due to improper alignment. It seems to be sturdy now that it is fully together, and my kids are excited for it. We shall see if it stays that way. I have to say Im pretty disappointed so far.
