one of the ends arrived damaged and my husband had to shimmy and bash it until it could be square enough to fit the other part. larger than expected and we didnt attach the slide due to not enough space for it. Other than that, its a great product!
Our 3 yr olds loves this bed! Not difficult to assemble and has held up very well. Parenting Hack.we bought a 9 cutting board (18 x 10) to slip in front of the the slide at night. UPDATE : After about a year and a half, bed became squeaky at joints; and as my little guy tossed and turned at night, it began to wake him up.thereby waking us up in the middle of the night. It was then that we moved to replace his bed. Great find!!
My 5 year old is so happy with his new big boy bed with a slide! It was easy to assemble he can store his toys underneath with easy access.
My only suggestion is that you have to be careful with the corners bars. Its the corners come to a point. Be mindful of that, have extra pillows (cushion) for sharp edges. This was definitely a good choice.
Love this bed ! Her playroom is underneath and I attached white Christmas type lights under so she can see better playing, thwy also serve as a nightlight ! Dont over think it, youll love it!!
The bed is cute. Im a 25 year old female who is an expert at putting together Ikea furniture. This was no different. My biggest issue was little cracks in the paint, stickers on every single piece! And just minor blemishes. Im the kind of person who wants a brand new bed to look brand new and it had tiny little things that bothered me. The warning stickers are the worst to remove! Besides that its adorable and easy to assemble Better than the picture!
Its a great bed. Son loves it. But one of the slats was an inch shorter then the rest and will not fit in place. I want a replacement part for it but dont want to send the whole bed back after i just put it together. The frame is still functional with out it, but i would rather have that part in place anyways Love the finished product!!
My husband and I put this together for our grandson, and had it done in 2 hours. We made a couple of rookie mistakes, but I must say, we had a great time doing this. I love the finished look. It is not too tall, and will be very sturdy. Also, I cannot wait to see what our little grandkids think of the slide. I am very happy. It arrived a day earlier than expected, and the UPS driver helped carry it inside my . I really cant imagine not buying this from . Prime delivery just makes everything easier. Really nice looking furniture.
