The parts were very well protected. Good quality paint, no scratches. Reasonable assembly with two persons for some sections. Structurally very sound, but I can tell the center leg may shift sideways. I may have to reinforce it given the weight of the person using it. One negative. The bars that support the mattress are very prominent when laying on the mattress, that said, the quality of your mattress probably makes a difference. Enter the Bunkie board These are wooden slats that you can lay over the platform for extra support. With the Bunkie board, everything is perfect. Im happy.
You need at least two people to put this together and it will take minimum 1 hour to assemble. They provide an awfully small thin wrench which is why it takes so long to put together. If you have a wrench set use that instead.
Once the frame is assembled it is pretty sturdy. Its been a few weeks and the fame does squeak a bit but nothing to scream about. Excellent value!
There was one hole I could not even screw into because it was so far off from where it was supposed to be. The bed is a lot less sturdy than it looks like it will be. Great storage option.
The bedframe is pretty difficult to set up (you really need two people to hold up the bars connecting the posts while screwing them in) and everything is kinda rough / scratched up. There was even a piece of jagged / sharp sticking off.
Great bed for the price it squeaks a little when Im trying to get comfortable so idk about when your intimate. Overall very sturdy bed . Great look and easy to put together . One person job.
