Does take some time to put together, but great product This bed is just what I expected. After reading reviews that said it was time consuming to put together I bought it knowing this would be frustrating. It took me over 3 hours to assemble mainly because the directions are terrible. Better directions and hardware that is more organized would shave a lot of time off assembly time. This one is a real pain in the back, you will spend hours hunched over working on this bed. Also, we were missing 1 wood screw and two bolts. In the end, its worth it. Its a sturdy, heavy bed that looks just like the pictures. It came on time and was packed very well. I arrived in three different boxes on three different deliveries so be aware of that too. I bought the King size in beige. Love it!
Meets my needs. This bed is solid. Probably the best value bed you can buy on . If Im going to critique anything, it would be the packaging and instructions. I cringe every time I open a packing box and realize a company is using it! The little pieces get everywhere and its a huge pain. If youre going to use styrofoam, please use pieces that have a plastic covering so it doesnt get everywhere. Other than that, it would be nice if the hardware didnt come together in just one bag and it was separated into individual labeled bags so you wouldnt need to spend time figuring out what was what on the instructions.
The bed is fairly sturdy and does the job, but the lack of quality control on this item makes it a miss for me.
1. The fabric headboard came stained with black grease. If youre boxing up a fabric item and it has grease on it, dont send it.
2. The frame has tons of chips. You can tell where they tried to paint over some of the more egregious gouges at the last minute, but it makes it look like bed was used, returned and refurbished.
3. Staples sticking out of the legs. This one was bad - they forgot to properly pound the staples into the base of two of the show legs. We attached it before noticing and the staples badly scratched up our hardwood floor. I should have done a better job of double checking, but it just feels thoughtless on the part of the manufacturer.
Easier than you think Built it within a few hours by myself, has lasted me a year so far. Does require tightening of some bolts over time if its been shaking. but overall great purchase!!
Read before you buy I recently purchased the queen size model. The elegance of this bed, the ease of assembly, the quality of the materials. All top notch! Couldnt be happier.

We made a few changes to this item,overall it is good Wish the headboard was bigger but other than that its a good frame.

There was a problem but they fixed it fast Ive had my bed a month now and I am SO happy with this purchase!!
