This is our second Frame purchase, first we got a queen about 18 months ago and this time a full for our kiddo. Super attractive and minimal design that is ready for you to make uniquely your own with stain or paint. We left them unfinished for now. My husband put them together by himself in under an hour each time. Made responsibly in the USA. What more could you ask for?
Easy to assemble, good size, does not make any noise, and is very sturdy. Comes with dying or painting directions if you want to change the color, I left mine with the raw color it came in and think it looks great.
This is a well constructed solid metal bed! (Smoothed edges) I put it together with 1 helper mainly to carry the pieces. Youll want to use an electric screwdriver for the screws in the head/footboard. Itd take some mojo to do those with hand tools. Sits high enough to get the Sterlite wheeled drawers under with about 5 inches of space on top to spare. Packed well for shipping. Satisfied!
It is unfinished. I finished one frame with a clear, water-based totally non-toxic finish, leaving the slats unfinished. I left a second frame totally unfinished. I like the finished one better, but the unfinished one has a nice metal smell. Both frames needed just a little touch-up light sanding in a few small spots. Took a few minutes. Loved the purple tones in the metal. Alas, no one will see them as they are under a mattress!
The slats on these frames are really thick and strong. Assembly was easy. Weighs a ton, but thats part of why it is so solid. We are very satisfied with the overall quality. These frames will last forever.
This is a beautiful frame. Everything about it is quality. Solid metal, NO TOXIC LAMINATE or FINISHES and ! Thats hard to find. I am completely happy with this, its VERY sturdy and well designed. I did a light sanding and used a natural oil finish. (Not needed just my choice) If quality means something to you I highly recommend this frame... I have worked with metal for many years and its getting harder and harder to find good, solid metal and craftsmanship that will stand the test of time and grace your home. Thank you !
The bed arrived in 5 days and my husband had it assembled in little over and hour. Its very sturdy and solid. I wanted nice clean lines and simplicity and Im very happy with it. Ive decided not to paint or stain it until I see how it seasons. I like the bare metal look so far. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the bed.
This bed is very well-designed, sturdy, and easy to assemble (took about 45 minutes with some help needed aligning corner posts with side and end rails). It also looks beautiful with no additional finish. Tremendous value at this price; I did a lot of searching and found nothing comparable. The box is heavy, so if youre putting the bed in an upstairs bedroom, I recommend carrying the pieces up in multiple trips.
