The bed is very nice - but a wire was disconnected or broken and the company had to send me out a new motor which I had to replace. This all took about two weeks because of the holidays. After replacing the motor everything works fine.
My mobility impaired partner uses this bedframe to help with edema on his legs. It supports his weight, it was as easy to assemble as it said it was, and the motor to raise/lower the bed is quiet enough that it doesnt disturb anyone or anything.
For years, my wife and I have wanted to buy an adjustable bed. I just could not bring myself to spend the money for premium one like Legg Platt. (Separately, I had doubts about the split bed setup) Ultimately, my wife and I settled on this one. Its been great. We used our existing 14 foam mattress and have had no problems.

Im torn between saying this isnt a good frame and saying its an awesome frame. 1st off this frame is built very well. The remote control is easy to read and works perfect. This frame will put you into all the comfortable positions and I love that. However, if you are using a latex mattress you will feel the steel ribbing like the old sofa sleepers. Its a design flaw in my opinion but only if you are using a latex mattress. I bought a 3 gel pad to put under my mattress but i can still feel the bar. I will continue to try to come up with a solution. IDEAL wrote me back and they had no advice except to get rid of my mattress... thats not going to happen since i dont want a synthetic mattress. So, if youre looking for an awesome adjustable frame and have a latex mattress dont buy this one.
The bed is outstanding. However, it takes forever to get it shipped to you. It took over a month to finally get it. They dont communicate very well. Itsa guessing game.
The base is very nice. However, the pictures are a little misleading. Best I can tell, unless you get the split king the USB ports will actually be on the bottom of the base. Some pictures show them on the side.
With all of the legs extended to the max the base is not very sturdy and moves if you or your spouse get in or out of bed.
