Perfect height, not too high. We actually have his old twin mattress underneath. Took me and my husband about an hour or so to assemble, it wasnt bad at all. Great buy. and came earlier than expected
Assembly is difficult to pull off alone. Some of the instructions can be difficult to read. Otherwise, my kids love their beds!!
The only reason I didnt give five stars was because of the difficulty level of assembly. This is awesome!
Bought for my teenager. She wanted a college dorm style room. This loft bed provided the perfect combination of style and function. Plenty of space for storage underneath and still not so high as a bunk bed. Love this product. No issues.
Good buy. I had to pay extra to ship to Alaska. Only had a few dings and dents by the the it got here. I put it together by myself. It took about 4.5 hours with a few breaks in between. Easy assembly/directions. Pretty sturdy. There was one slat 15 on the end that seemed to be cut slightly to short so I couldnt screw both sides in. I improvised. Perfect height for a 5 year old. I did read some reviews that said not to tighten your bolts to tight or the wood could split easily. I did just that and had no issues. Would buy again. Best deal for a very nice
Bought two of these beds. 1 bed was perfect. The other one, not so much. 4 bowed, can push in and out. 16 wood split and hole was not deep enough for the bolt. By the time you figure all this out, you are too far along in the process. There were actually differences between the good and bad bed wood pieces. 6 part of the good bed was grey and in 3 pieces, the bad was reg wood and one solid piece. The bad 11 drill holes were off and slats were cut too short, had to screw some in at an angle . The good one seems solid. If you order this bed, make sure you ask for a good one (lol). Other than that, its a great product!
We love the bed! Easy to assemble and looks great. My 3.5 year old loves it. It says 6 and up but it is very appropriate for him and the rails are high enough I have no fear of him falling out. He has a smaller room so I love the extra space for his stuff. This one was perfect
I purchased this bed for my 7 year/old daughter. The bed went together easily but definitely takes two people. The result is super cute and very sturdy! The only downside I have found is, it has a very unusual smell. I dont know if it is the paint they used or the clear coat, but the smell is overwhelming. I thought it might dissipate once out of the box and assembled. The bed has been up for a week and the smell is still super strong. I have tried to wipe it down with a towel in warm soapy water. Hopefully over time it will go away. Very sturdy and durable
I bought this bed frame because I was searching everywhere for a full loft bed that wasnt going to cost thousands of dollars. The closest one I could find similar/ish were like 2k on pottery barn. So this is a good deal on that regard. I saw a review where adults have used the full loft with no issues and hoped Id have the same experience.
I am currently 280lbs and wanted to ensure the weight limit would be safe. This is rated for 500lbs so I thought it would be fine if it was just me on the bed. When sitting and laying on the bed, the center supports bowed. I had smaller people, 150lbs on it by themselves and it did the same thing. Ive seen other reviews where the center supports broke and it made me really nervous to keep this bed frame.
I modified it by adding an additional center support and plan on adding another and a leg that goes from the center downward. Just one additional center support solved the bowing problem. I highly recommend modifying the bed the same way. Be careful with the brackets you buy for that/ mine came up higher than the originals and I had to change the placement of the slats a bit.
I did not install the ladder and side support that goes with the ladder. Thats a do at your own risk situation because it would theoretically affect the beds sturdiness. I dont think it makes that much of a difference due to how it actually attaches and is put together.
I really wanted to give this bed 5 stars, but I really think they need to modify the full bed design. There needs to be additional center supports and maybe even a 5th leg in the center to ensure its safe. Even charging an additional 100 would make this full loft worth it in terms of value.
In short, I do really like this bed frame and its exactly what I need for my smaller room to save space with the storage underneath. I just dont recommend it for adults unless you plan on modifying it to be more sturdy. It was still worth it to me to do so instead of return it. Debating if we are going to keep it
This bed was ordered for my 14 year old daughter. We all love it. It was packaged really well. No damage or chips in paint. Went together nicely and everything screws down including the slats! Very sturdy. Her full sized mattress fit perfectly. We chose not to put the side rail and ladder on the side because she wanted it off. Still sturdy. Perfect for storage underneath which is why we ordered it. Her room looks like a dorm room room now. truly easy to install

Bolts are cheap
The bolts heads strip out easily, even when using a good quality Allen wrench. Easy setup and sturdy!
