Purchased for a guest bedroom. Super easy to assemble, looks great, does not feel cheap or smell funny from the factory. Keep an eye on the price. Frustrating to miss out on a sale or believe it is on sale to see the price drop even lower. Purchased ours at its lowest price and had an additional promo going on furniture; received an additional 30 off w/ our purchase. Enjoyed it.

Decent

Its a basic bed. Nothing extraordinary. Sturdy. I too screwed a wood base on top to support the mattress. Was hoping it would be darker. The color is a medium brown. Needed it to be more walnut. But the finish is very lightly applied that I think I can pass it with a coat of a darker color. Awesome!

Came with some scratches and knicks overall sturdy and nice looking Not easy to put together.
