I hadnt read any reviews until after I ordered it so I had some apprehension of what I have gotten into. The only damage I found was a 2 inch splinter on the underside of the headboard, invisible on the finished job and not a load bearing part. Assembly was fairly easy though if you are doing it yourself you need to be just a little bit of a contortionist. The parts numbering system could be improved. Once youve done it you could do it again in minutes. Including the hex ratchet was a great idea. The finished product is a sturdy and beautiful bed. Really good.
Im not much to write reviews, So I have owned IKEA beds and never really had major issues and based on sturdiness this bed takes the cake. Its easy to build and much sturdy. I ended up buying it here because of Covid/19, since Atlanta IKEA is still closed and ordering online is a headache. It did come with a few chips but its an easy fix with some woods stain color, Overall I definitely recommend this bed . Works great!
