This daybed was easy to assemble and fits beautifully into a bedroom alcove / offering a great place to read and play games, and an attractive extra bed when we need one. Were lucky to have that alcove / and even luckier to find a daybed that fits the space! Were very pleased with this addition to our ability to sleep a large family group! It was very easy to set up, and, with a memory foam mattress, it looks great.
This is the worst bed frame I have ever owned in my life / its made me appreciate the old school twin bed I had growing up with its moderate level of squeakiness.
This freaking bed frame makes on average, 3 different distant sounds / the metal clicking of the slats as you shift weight on the bed; the labored creaking of BOTH side rails on getting in/out of the bed; the crunch of the main middle support rail every time you move across the middle of your mattress. For reference, I purchased this bed new in August, and have tightened and oiled the screws twice. I am a 150lb female, and rarely have had guests over to share it, but when I do, forget a good time because Im cringing with every squeak, creak, and clunk from this junky bed frame. I got so frustrated that I just purchased a new bed frame yesterday and plan to sell this one for 30 with a clear buyer beware message.
I gave it two stars only because its aesthetically cute, cute but its functionality is seriously awful.
I strongly recommend not to purchase this for an adult and/or main bed frame.
This metal bed is a great value for the price! It has a beautiful, unique design and looks great in our guest bedroom. We looked at a lot of beds to find one that has support for a foam mattress. This bed has a high quantity of slats about 4apart to hold a 12foam mattress easily. The bed took about 2 hours to put together because some of the screw holes didnt align exactly, but we are very happy with this purchase. It is very sturdy. The middle legs are positioned farther back than the holes on the corners, which makes it easier NOT to stub ones toes. As one would expect, this bed is not heavy, but it is very sturdy.
Nice sleek design, seems durable up to now. Item was a bit challenging to assemble and we had a set of pre drilled holes that didnt line up and required some extra work to get screw in place to complete securing the head board. We are very pleased with the frame over all.
