Nice bed for the price point. Putting it together was pretty easy. My 7 year old was able to do most of it with a little muscle help. The little plastic locks that slide into the top bunk to essentially keep the rungs in place are ridiculously tight and you cant get them innot even with a hammer. I was worried I would damage the bed or break the plasticand of course there are like 50 of them. We have had to rely on the weight of the mattress alone to keep the rungs in place. Its strong enough to hold an adult, but the bulk of the bed is overhead and the base seems a little insecure unless you secure the bed to the wall with the brackets providedmuch like you wood earthquake proof a tall bookshelf.howeversecuring it to the wall isnt easy if you have any type of floor trim because the bed cannot sit flush with the wall. Either you will have super long screws and have them exposed a whole inch out of the drywall before they even reach the bed frame.or you have to remove your base trim to have your bed up against the wall. works great.
I chose this set of bunkbeds because of the higher weight limit, and the ability to accommodate thicker mattresses. My kids are 10 and 11 years old, and this bed is very sturdy. Overall, I am very impressed and would recommend it.
Downsides:
/assembly was harder than your average furniture assembly. Not impossible, but took several hours.
/ladder rungs are hard on feet Pinterest has some ideas to soften them that well try.
/ The area beneath the bed is not very tall, and the top bunk space is significantly smaller than the bottom under standard 8ft ceilings ( but the space given for the bottom bunk is huge!)
/I wish it would have come with a small bottle of touch up paint, because there were some nicks in it when we got it I wish it would have come with a small bottle of touch up paint, because there were some chips in the finish/but nothing major.
Again, I would highly recommend these beds. My kids fit in there nicely, and I dont see them outgrowing them anytime soon. They are sturdy, and not creaky. Save some money and buy this.
Got this for our 14yr old. Its perfect for her and allows a hangout space underneath the bed for when friends are over. She loves it and it really utilizes the space in her room. Expected.
Little tricky putting the frame together but its very sturdy. Super comfortable sleeping high from the ground but the ladder hurts feet. Get cushions for the ladder Bought two great value for the money, durable.

Very sturdy, my 12 year old son was able to assemble it (with very little assistance). Good deal and was easy to put together.
