Im 150lbs and frankly it feels too unstable. Plus spent 320 on it and within a day they moved the price to 225, not sure what thats about. Pretty big hassle time construct, I think it could have been designed better Just ok
I ordered this workstation loft bed for our guest room and we recieved just the loft bed first then later the workstation separately. When we opened the box for the workstation it was already damaged. Very dissapointing to get damaged goods after paying for this product. Product is Ok for the price.
Huge gap on one side of the stairs. We had to hammer and use a longer screw to make it work. See picture for how it was at first. Also a huge dent on one of the legs when unpacked. Basic.
This bed went together with minimal issue. It is quite sturdy for the price! I had already read the reviews saying the ladder rungs were painful for their kids. To be honest I kind of dismissed them. But they were right, especially since you are getting in and out of bed with no shoes on. I cut some pool noodles to cover them and it helped. It just doesnt look as nice with rainbow colored foam on the rungs. I actually contemplating building a wooden ladder and hanging it on the outside of the bed to replace them essentially. Not best.
This bed is very cool looking and the space underneath it is far more usable than I thought it was going to be
My girls are 6 and 7, and we wanted to upgrade them from their twin over twin bunk bed (where they shared three bottom bunk anyway, since they refuse to separate whilst they sleep). I looked around for a bed that would give them a hang out space underneath it, but everything seemed really short. Not this bed this thing is taller than me by a lot (Im 52). I literally cant see if my kids are in when theyre sleeping, lol.
As far as the assembly goes, my husband put it together in about 5hrs, but it probably wouldve gone faster with both of us. He conquered this beast while I put together the tv stand, assembled the television, and set up the rest of the room.
Pieces are pretty heavy/sturdy, although there is definitely some wobble once assembly is complete. Thankfully, my kids are small enough that only the 7yr old moves the bed as shes climbing, but Im really not sure how the adults writing these reviews are sleeping well. Im heavier than a lot of 52 women (about 190), but I can still climb the ladder and get in the bed and everything (had to test it like a decent mom before I sent my kids up there). But, if Im being honest, even with the super comfortable mattress we put up there, Id sooner sleep on the floor than listen to the terrifying symphony of creaks coming from this bed while I tried to situate myself.
For us though, this will work out just fine! Their room isnt done yet, but Im excited, so I uploaded a couple of photos of their room so far, showing how much space it takes up from different angles. Will update as more furniture comes in to show full scale Thank you so much.
So I originally bought this for my son, hes 4. I didnt read the height dimensions but once I put it together its way to close to the ceiling, its like a claustrophobic feeling. He bumped his head twice, hard. There are warning signs that under 6 should not sleep on loft beds of this height. I agree. I let him sleep in it two night but I was so scared i was gonna hear him fly off the bed in the middle of the night I literally didnt sleep. Lol for real. Im returning this bed. Excellent customer service from as always. I am a skinny girl I put this whole bed together took it down by my self and packaged the box back up to be picked up by ups to start my return phew! Thank god for that because I do not have a truck, the box is hella heavy i cannot lift it even if I did have a truck. If I can assemble/disassemble you can do it too. I would not buy this type of bed frame again, but to each its own. It might be necessary if you are very compromised on space, like a studio. Make sure you have high ceilings. And the steps hurt really bad, btw. But overall, not bad for the price. Very functional.
Our teenage son loves his new full/size loft bed! It went together very easily! It feels sturdy enough for two small or medium adults. I read the reviews about the ladder being a comfort issue when climbing and opted to buy a separate ladder with proper flat rungs.
I bought this one from , and it works perfectly: Stromberg Carlson LA/466B Bunk Ladder/66, Black
It sits about 1ft from the base of the bed at the bottom and latches on to the second/highest side rail. If you use this ladder, make sure to use some bicycle handlebar tape or tennis racket tape to protect the point where the ladder latches on to the bedside rail to prevent noise and /on/ scraping!
This bed is awesome, I love it /my teenage son Great price and somewhat durable.

Workstation shipped separate and damaged.

Pieces not straight.

Solid construction, painful to climb
If there were rubber or some padding on the ladder this wouldve been perfect for our needs. Too many parts. Assembly is a pain.
Great bed, sturdy, but painful ladder rungs.

Bad purchase
Did not come with every screw.
Awesome bed setup to save space!
