This chair arrived fully assembled / it couldnt have been easier! The gray is a pewter color that brushes dark one way and light the other way. It actually leaves a butt crack mark in the seat when you get up, so you have to brush your hand across the seat to make it disappear. The arms need brushing as well to look decent when you are not sitting in it. Maybe in other fabrics this is not the case? Worth the brushing! The metal circular ring at the floor protrudes a bit and is visible more than it seems in the photo. Comfort/wise / this chair is wonderful / you cannot sit in it without (unconsciously) rocking / even the men who tried it found themselves rocking and liked the feel of it. Very stable and comfortable.
I really wanted a nice upholstered for my babys nursery but I couldnt stomach the 1,000+ prices of most modern trendy ones. I ended up registering for this and buying it right before my baby was born with my 10 off coupon code, so it came out to under 200.
I LOVE it! Sure, its not quite as big and roomy as some other ones, but for the price this really cant be beat. It is a bit small, so the pillow I bought for it actually doesnt leave enough room for me, but thats a small price to pay for an otherwise very comfortable swivel/rocker/.
I was a bit worried from other reviews about the back being too low, as Im 6 tall and I like to be comfortable, but I dont find the back height to be an issue at all. Again, I might be *slightly* more comfortable with a giant square that I can actually lay back in, but a) my nursery is not big enough for one of those, and b) for the price its just not worth it.
I do wish would make a coordinating ottoman for this, though, as I would have bought it for sure (supposing it cost less than the I cant get over how much companies are charging for ottomans these days!).
If you have a small nursery and a small budget but you still like nice/looking items, take my advice and go for it!
We chose this for our nursery because of its size and color. We have a small room (9x11) and it fits perfectly in the corner. It is extremely comfortable and rocks silently. I nurse my daughter in the several times per night and am always comfortable. Because the back is not very high, you cant really sleep in it unless you sink down and prop your feet up on an ottoman, but it was not my intent to be able to fall asleep in the chair so this isnt a concern for me. Im 52 and my husband is 511 and we both find it extremely comfortable for rocking the baby to sleep. Ive only had it about a month so I cant comment on wear, but the padding feels quite strong and I dont think it will wear out any time soon. Weve had a few spills/spit up accidents onto the fabric, and it comes right out either with water, or with simply letting it dry (if its not a lot) and scratching it off. Love it!
Just received my chair a few days ago and have tested it out alot, I love it. My tall husband can sit in it comfortably too. the arms are a perfect height so I can feed the baby with ease.
I love how it looks like a regular chair and not like a typical nursery chair.
It came ready to use no assembly required. it feels sturdy and heavy so Im definitely happy that it will last for a long time.
The price is aming considering the look of the chair and the sturdiness.
This chair came packaged very well and fits nicely into my sons big boy room. I needed a small rocker/ to replace the nursing chair that was staying in the nursery for the new baby. This chair is perfect! Very comfortable and compact. Perfect for smaller rooms.
Chairs came via UPS. The slate gray color provides a look of elegance. Good quality and at a price. Compare this s to those sold by local furniture companies and you will decide to buy these. We bought 2 and they look great in living room or family room.

i reserved a star only because of the way it was shipped. it came in a very flimsy box with awkward dimensions. it was very difficult to carry. they also include Styrofoam panels that break apart into a million little pieces and require a thorough clean up afterwards.
Great for small spaces. We bought this because we wanted an alternative to a rocking chair that could easily be used either in our room or the nursery. This chair is a nice color and fabric and comfortable for my short legs and my husbands longer legs. The only downside, which other reviews mentioned, is that the back is too short to rest your head. For us, the comfort and functionality outweigh this.
Love these. The reviews are accurate. The chair is perfect for a small nursery/room! We bought it for an 11x11 room and it fits perfectly in the corner. Its very comfortable and rocks and glides smoothly! The only thing Id say is that the ecru color is more on the creamy beige/yellowy side than on the off white side. Regardless, love the chair!
