I purchased this rocker in ecru about 2 years ago for my first baby. Its beautiful and modern and looked great in her nursery (especially for the price). The microfiber is pretty easy to clean if you wipe it up right away (although I wish I would have gotten a darker color). HOWEVER, my first baby hated to be rocked, so it never got any use at all.
I just had a second baby, and this one loves to be rocked, so we pulled the rocker into the living room and have been using it every day. The baby is now 3 months old, and the chair is almost completely broken. After taking a look underneath, my husband immediately saw why. Its cheaply made with thin metal, and at the point where the screws press fit into the metal tubes, it is actually starting to CRACK and break. The movement is choppy and loud, and its almost not even safe anymore. When we first started using it, the movement was smooth and silent, and we absolutely loved it. At this point, I dont even let me 2 year old sit on it because Im afraid that it will break.
Im hoping that my husband can figure out a way to fix it, simply because weve already paid for it and can no longer send it back. But despite the sleek look and great price, I would never buy from again and would NOT recommend it to others. Its completely unacceptable for a 300 piece of furniture to be broken after barely 3 months of use.

However, after about a year of using it, the mechanism underneath just broke. There is nothing we can do about it, the welding fell apart. My husband and I are not abnormally large people so I dont think its anything we could have done. Now it works only as a chair even though it leans to one side and looks ridiculous. Its disappointing as weve grown very accustomed to rocking our daughter to sleep and now we cant. We spent nearly 300 on a chair that had a three month return and replace window.
HAPPY!! This was perfect for my babys small nursery. It rocks, swivels and is super comfortable. The only negative thing I could say is be careful when leaning forward, its not very steady, but would definitely recommend it.
I initially purchased two of these six years ago for my son and daughters nurseries. They are comfortable, but both of them started squeaking about a year in. I didnt think too much of it since they didnt need to be rocked anymore by that point.
Now, I was gifted a third one for my third child. It started squeaking insanely LOUD within a mere MONTH!! Weve greased it several times but it just wont stop. Even as a newborn with white noise on, my baby kept waking up. Its SO ANNOYING. Im utterly disappointed.
Thats THREE of these all squeaking now but the most recent one is the worst. Im thinking they worsened their newer ones.

After a few months of use the base fractured. Apparently this is a known defect and replaced it for free. The replacement was reinforced at the fracture location and its been going strong for over a year now with no problems!
The chair is comfortable, but dont expect to fall asleep with your baby as there isnt anywhere for you to rest your head.
