Safe works fine. Youll want to brace it or steady it in some way as it is not heavy enough to be stable on its own. It locks and unlocks fine. Can open with key or code. Turn knob and handle to open.
Cant beat this rifle safe. Compact, easy to get into, holds everything you need. Im just starting out and needed something that would fit into a walk in closet and was easy to get into. This safe fit the bill! The price and quality are huge assets. Get this if you need an add-on or if your just starting out and want to get the feel for having a safe in your home. Very Happy with the purchase!

I put in New batteries but the electronic keypad did not work. Do not recommend at all.

Alan of Moutec service team contacted me immediately after I posted my 1 Star Review on 2/24/21. Alan provided a replacement at no charge and I was able to keep my defective cabinet. The new cabinet came on 2/27/21 and worked well. I am extremely impressed with the customer service of Moutec and it is my impression that they will stand provide their products.
We are pleased with our new Moutec rifle gun safe. It is well built for the price. It is easy to program the touch pad lock and it came with two keys for both the door and the small lock box inside. The safe came fairly quickly (even during the pandemic) and it was well packaged. The safe has a cushion on the bottom to protect the rifles and it has an adjustable foam piece inside to keep the rifles upright. The owner of the company reached out to us and offered us a free door panel organizer once we registered our product. I would certainly recommend this safe as it is a good value for the price.
I checked out all the other budget safes and I just could not feel comfortable purchasing ANY of them. I saw stories of how other safes arrived, how nothing would fit inside those ones, and then decided on this one instead. But I am thrilled with this purchase! The separate small safe up top is a great bonus! I would be shocked if you too werent happy after purchasing this safe!

Well built. Easy to install ( ie. bolt to wall ). Nice lock set-up.
