    Bunkbed assembly.

We bought this bed for our great granddaughter and she loves it but, the instructions for assembly was very disappointing because all the instructions provided were pictures of the parts to be assembled. No written instruction provided whatsoever, only pictures of the parts and the bolts, screws, etc. So for us, assembly took a lot longer than necessary. Great Buy

    Need two people to assemble

Unpack the box and put the boards in number order, determining the bolt numbers was a pain since they are not numbered so count the amount of each to determine the use. Love the book shelf and was easy to assemble with two people. Very pleased with this purchase

Great High Loft Bed for Kids

This is a great investment for a kids bedroom set. My two kids share a room, and I wanted them to be able to have their own floor space. The ladder is sturdy enough to accommodate them (aged 3 and 8). My husband and I climb up the ladder, but we are careful about it as I dont think it would hold up too long with adults. The bed arrived with a few blemishes through shipping, but I was aware that this may happen based on other reviews. Im just glad it made it to my house at all in one piece with the way shipping has been lately. My kids are happy with their new bed sets, and that is all that matters! perfectly fine with it

    Great

This was exactly what we wanted. My husband said it was a pain to assemble but it feels sturdy and looks decent. I am sure it will last as long as we need. Very happy with product

    and Lilly has outdone itself!!

I really do love it when I actually get a great product from , and can truly leave an honest review, with actual hopes of being able to help someone make a decision regarding their purchase. I ordered the and Lilly High loft bed about four months ago. I knew I wanted to hold off leaving a review in order to really be able to test the product. I started the process of redecorating my daughters bedroom, from top to bottom, and the first thing on the agenda was to find a high loft bed that, 1. Came with storage shelves, 2. Came with a desk, and 3. Had a great price. I am happy to report that the and Lilly High loft bed hit the mark in each way. I searched and searched for the perfect high loft bed, I found plenty that came with a high price tag, at least 8 or 900 bucks, and all the more affordable ones didnt look as good, or looked flimsy, had horrible reviews or didnt have a desk but had shelves, didnt have shelves but had a desk. This loft bed is super sturdy. My daughter has a thin frame, but her and her brother both sleep in this bed all the time. She also just had a sleep over and her and two girls all slept in this bed. I dont sleep in this bed, but I have to get on it every day in order to make her bed, and I feel 100 confident while up there, that the bed is sturdy. The storage space is exactly what I was looking for. I havent decided exactly how Im going to style the shelves, but what ever my little heart was to desire to put on them, I would have the space. The desk area is small, but it has enough space for a stylish lamp and clock. I am thinking about using one shelf for her desk organizer, pencil cups and paper trays, but not for sure yet. My daughter absolutely loves this bed so much. Ever since she has gotten her bed it has made her appreciate her room, I also find her spending more time at her desk, reading books, and doing little girly things. The only things I have to say about this bed negatively is 1. The ladder. I read some other reviews with the same complaint, saying it was cheap and not sturdy. I think if it would have been made to stand straight up, it would have been better. It hasnt cracked or anything like that, but I remind the kids daily of what the reviews said and to just use it to hurry and get on or off the bed. 2. After my husband, finished putting the bed together we decided it would look better in a different spot. The bed is way to heavy and sturdy to move by yourself so him and a friend had to manually lift the bed up and move it. While doing so, the bed cracked a little at the top. Im not sure what this says about the quality, or if it is a given that this would happen, but just letting you know. Personally, it doesnt bother me, but like I said, I just stay on top of my kids about how its a cheap bed and we have to be careful with it. When I say cheap, I dont mean like that, but technically speaking, its not a 1500 dollar Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel bed, but to me, its just as good. I spent 550 bucks and I dont regret it one bit, not to mention my daughter is in lala land every night in her dream bedroom with her dream high loft bed. If youre on a budget like me, but still desire the finer things, and like to hunt down just as good quality dupes, this is the route to go!!!! I am very pleased so far

    Hire somebody to assemble

I got this bed because the local furniture stores dont have anything available until spring maybe. First, my daughter is maybe 90 pounds soaking wet so we werent super worried about it holding her weight. This bed seems like it could probably hold her and a few of her friends no problem. Im actually pretty satisfied with how sturdy it is and how it looks. Theres some cosmetic flaws, but for the price, I cant complain. What I can complain about is how impossible it was to put together and how useless the instructions were. I cannot emphasize that enough. You better either have a really great marriage or hire a couple people to put it together and save yourself the bickering and blisters. It took two people, both fairly mechanically inclined and one holds a doctorate, six hours to put this together. Ive done my share of furniture assembly and this was by far the worst. In some pieces there werent even guide holes for the screws so you literally just had to muscle a screw into the wood. The instructions showed holes in pieces where there wasnt holes or vice versa. So trying to figure out which of the four posts was supposed to be facing which way was essentially trial and error. And if you chose wrong, it put you back to the beginning. It was completely frustrating. Fortunately this looks like itll last for a good while so we dont have to go through assembly again Just follow the instructions and youll be fine!!

    Wobbly

Except that its wobbly.I love everything about this bed. Im 100 sure everything is screwed in correctly. I check the bed every night to make sure there are no cracks from all the wiggling.

    Great bed

Great bed but i ordered the one with a desk, and when it arrived it does not have a desk. But i had already assembled so Im not taking it back apart. Very well built

Good frame. Happy kid. Did need to pull out the drill

My wife and assembled this in about 2.5 hours. We did run into a little snag where a hole on one of the posts did not align correctly so I had to pull out a drill and put a new hole in it. No, it wasnt misread instructions. If you didnt have a drill it would have been impossible to assemble the bed. And I dont think this is one of those items you return easily. If I had been patient enough maybe they would have sent me another post. All in all very happy. GREAT LOVE IT!!!

    Nice for younger kids

We bought one of these for each of our kids (6 and 9 years old) after researching lots of lofts and looking for one that didnt have a low weight limit and wasnt super high off the ground. They werent super difficult to put together, but definitely took the better part of one day to get them both done. The wood split on one of them when we were attaching the ladder, so we had to glue/clamp to fix it and then be really careful about screwing angle on the second attempt. Overall they look nice and have tons of shelf space underneath. My tall 6 year old can walk underneath hers without ducking, and my 9 year old has her desk underneath which she really likes. For having a 400 lbs weight limit, though, they dont seem that sturdy. They have more wiggle than I wouldve anticipated when the kids are moving around on them (and weve rechecked that everything is tightened as much as possible). Im an average sized person and wouldnt feel comfortable climbing up on it. We love it
