This is not your normal flat pack particle board furniture, its a much higher quality. Its all real solid wood, not sure what species but heavier than poplar. The hardware is good quality and assembly was very easy. Assembly took me maybe 45 minutes and I was in no rush. If you follow the instructions and wait to tighten the bolts until you have all the bolts in and everything lined up you wont have alignment issues like some have reported. My gaps and joints all lined up great after I pushed the right side back and pulled the left side forward. Just take your time and read the instructions.
The hall tree was a certified returned item, so it was a gamble to purchase but it turned out to be a great buy! There was a problem with one of the screws but I was able to used one of the extra screws with a little modification. There was also a small nick in the finish, but it is completely unnoticeable with a Sharpie! Very pleased with the purchase!
My wife found this and felt it would be perfect at the entrance to our home. The unit was well packed and assembly was very easy. The instructions werent 100 % step by step, but were easy to follow. This is a great addition to our home.
We have a busy household and needed a catch-all place to store shoes and coats and to have somewhere to sit while the kids put on their shoes. This has worked out perfectly for us and it really is a beautiful piece of furniture.
Looks nice, a pain to put together (took us over 2 hours and we are pretty savvy at putting furniture together). Fits perfectly and the cabinet for the shoes is deep.

Perfect Addition to Foyer
