This product arrived in a very heavy box. Upon opening and attempting to put it together, it was bad enough that the screws included were bent, broken and or stripped but whats even worse is that the stabilizer bars are 2 inches shy of reaching across the bed. How do they expect anyone to sleep on that? On the first time one would find themselves on the floor. This is by far the poorest quality control Ive ever seen, and Ive seen some crap in my day! DONT EVEN THINK OF BUYING THIS PRODUCT!!!!
Easy to assemble, sturdy, nice quality, beautiful detail. I had my friend help me put it together but I probably could have done it alone. The assembly took about 40 minutes and even that was because I didnt have a drill. So I was hand screwing in holes that didnt have a predrilled spot.
PARTS AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE MISSING!! No way to order replacement parts because serial number not provided without instruction manual!!! Ashley furniture and refused to help or provide info!!
Well Ive only had for one day and my daughter put it together in 2 half hours. Sturdy, solid, does not squeak and it is the right height for me. BUT...yes there is a but... Assembly Directions are poor, we figured it out but all the screws were all in ONE bag and no written explanation, just numbers, if you can get pass that then u will have one solid lovely platform bed BUT...I love it!!
My box arrived abused and ripped by UPS but the bed was perfect. Other than a few missing screws that fell off the open gaps on the box, the bed arrived in good condition. The hardware is generic and takes one trip to a hardware store to replace missing ones but other than that, this bed can handle jumping on it. Not a squeak! Just put extra plastic cups and felt on tip of legs from hardware store as plastic on it breaks and tend to scratch plank floors.
Great looking but not the must functional After reading the reviews Ill admit I was a bit apprehensive about buying because of all of the reviewers that said assembly took up to 4 hours. BUT, since those same reviewers all said that other than that the bed is great, I proceeded! So, last night my husband and I decided to go for it, with the time to beat being 3 hours! lol We got it together in an hour an 45 minutes. NOW, that time flew by because we were busy. The instructions are VERY clear and all of the parts are numbered. The first thing we did was get everything out of the box and line all the parts up against the wall with the numbers showing. It was not hard to put together (except for having to use that little allen wrench)! It was worth the effort, seems like it will be a pretty sturdy bed and looks just as good as it was pictured!
Excellent customer service We just put this bed together. I love that it looks nice and seems to be sturdy. The directions for assembly is not great, but me managed to get it together. It absolutely looks beautiful in our bedroom. Will update on durability when we have used it as this is the first night we will get to use it :)
So far from what I can tell I dont regret the purchase. The box came with a huge hole in it but everything seems ok
