    2 People Needed

Nice accent piece for room When the guide says two people are needed, please take their advice. I love the outcome. The platform bed looks good and is sturdy.

    Broke immediately

Wooden boards were improperly stapled into the slats to hold a mattress up. Broke within first day.

Reviewing here since Ashley Furniture doesnt post reviews

Do not buy - its that simple. Its very cheaply made. As they say, you get what you pay for. Note in picture how the wood was bent so we couldnt get half the slats in place. We ended up throwing it away since it was too much work to try to disassemble it and then return it. Complete waste of time and money.

Satisfied. Nice sturdy so far. Opportunity for user error with assembly

OK, so I wasnt going to purchase this because of some of the bad reviews, but Im glad I ended up buying it. The value matches the price, but its pretty decent, and Im happy with it. There is definitely room for error when assembling the frame. I can see where other reviewers had issues. As you can see in my pictures, the center metal support is poorly designed. Instead of being a bar that extends from one end of the bed to the other, they provide two shorter bars - and you must begin each bar at either side of the bed (head and foot), and they pass each other in the middle but do not extend all the way. Also, they dont attach to the head or foot. Very strange, but its fine. And then theres the issue of the slats not extending quite all the way across. No big deal Just push the frame in a little before you screw it down, and voila, it fits just fine. You definitely need an electric drill for that part. Lastly, you dont technically need two people to assemble it. I am one person and got it done. It was a pain in the butt a couple of times and would definitely be easier quicker with more than one person, but not necessary. If you are not very handy, I would suggest requesting help from someone who is. In the end, I tested out the bed, and it feels very sturdy and trustworthy. It looks good too. I hope this helps.

Great piece of furniture for the price.

Modern vibe, decent price. The frame is sturdy for the most part. Was a little challenging to line everything up to put it together. When securing 2 of the base pieces the wood started to split. But I was able to do it myself in an hour or so. Looks great.

    Poor Quality!

I have assembled many furniture items over the years, this has got to be the most cumbersome and poorest quality piece yet. It arrived with missing parts, so i had to order the missing pieces and that took another week to arrive. Some screws looked like they had been used already. There were scratches on the boards as well. The support piece screws in with 18 screws, but nothing is predrilled. The pieces of wood you screw into is narrow and cracks when you screw in. The foot and head boards are very bendy and i can anticipate them snapping if bed is not moved carefully. If it wasnt such a task to return such a large item like this, i would have sent it straight back! Would NOT recommend!!

    Awesome Bed!

This bed is super solid! Heavy duty wood and great quality hardware. Directions were a little tough to follow but if you take your time its not so bad. I was able to build it by myself. Dont over tighten the screws.
