I was concerned about buying wood because it was planned for use on a partially covered porch. This means it will be exposed to harsh Texas sun and the rest of the elements. This material looks like wood if you arent really examining it. I think it will be much better at standing up to the elements too. The pieces fit together quickly and tightly. I built two of these in less than an hour with nothing but the tools provided. They are still new, but I am very happen with them so far. I wouldnt buy them for indoor, but for the look of wood with no required maintenance to upkeep, I think they are great for the patio.
I received two of the brown rockers as a gift. When I took them out of the box to put them together, I discovered that both rockers were lacking predrilled holes on the big side pieces, so I was unable to assemble them immediately. I called customer service and they were wonderful / so helpful and nice, and they got replacement parts sent to me very quickly. With the replacement parts, I got both rockers assembled easily and WOW! Not only are these beautiful rockers but they are STURDY! I am so so so happy with these, especially knowing how great customer service is.
I purchased 4 of these for a Christmas gift. First chair took about 30 minutes to assemble. The other 3 took 15 minutes each with no help. Sharp looking and very comfortable. Ive read some reviews that commented they are too low. Im 6 tall and 210 lbs and they are perfect for me. I like the synthetic wood as ive had real wood chairs in the past that rotted.

Garbage
Cheap plastic feel. They do not have pre drilled holes on sides to actually assemble them. Sending them back!!!
