Great for the money. Helps me save space in a small room. It is a tad wobbly but not bad.
Only problem really is I had a part with the holes misaligned, which seems to be a common occurrence from reading other reviews. I contacted the seller through , and they sent me a replacement. Thankfully it wasnt a vital piece, so I could still use the bed while I waited. You might get differing luck, though. look great reliable.
So we put this together and first thing, have a carpet or it moves. We no longer carpet so my daughters bed is over a folded king size velvet blanket. It took 2 people about an hour and a half to put together. My daughter is 15, 150 pounds and that is a hybrid 10 inch mattress(memory foam and springs). No squeaking or issues with feeling unsteady. Honestly Not bad, one hole was not drilled completely (foot of the bed top screw for rail.) and cut a pool noodle for the latter steps and this thing is great. The price is reasonable though.
Pros:
I built this myself with a ratchet and the help of a 5 year old and two year old
Over engineered
Kids love it
Plenty sturdy for an adult too
Cons:
There should be some vertical bars up top on the ends to prevent pillows from making an escape. I tucked in a small blanket to prevent the pillow from wandering away over night.
A few extra main screws wouldnt hurt incase one starts to strip, or one gets stripped in the future.
One quick note: I tightened every screw down once the frame was fully assembled. I let the kids explore the frame for a few minutes and then rechecked all the screws. The next day, I rechecked the screws before bedtime. its very nice and I love the color. Worth it
I was hoping this would be taller to put a desk under it for my daughter. I should have noticed the photo had an area rug with plants on the floor. We decided to put a shag rug and Asian floor chairs with a tea table instead. The assembly was very easy. The only issue I had was that the center bar was too short, it didnt reach with the screw they gave us. I had to use one of the long screws instead. Thank you.
