This Samtra Computer Desk looks nice. It has a simple, modern design. The Sandalwood color looks good, it is made from manufactured melamine board. The desk is It was easy and straightforward to put together. Overall a good looking, simple style desk.
The desk was easy to assemble just make sure you follow the directions. I made the mistake of originally attaching the wrong legs to the wrong side of the desk and I wasn’t able to attach the bottom legs to one another until I fixed it. It took me 15 or so minutes to set it up without help. It did come with an Allen wrench which I used to assemble the desk. The desk is on the bigger side at 55 inches it’s also pretty lightweight. I was actually able to carry it up and down the stairs by myself. The desk is firm and durable. My desk had a dent on the corner, which was most likely due to the delivery process. The desk did come wrapped in foam so I’m not sure how that happened.

The simulated wood is nice because it doesnt hold on to stains from cups. The tables surface is on the small side though. I cant really store anything on the table but my laptop and some papers a lamp, and a pencil container. It already feels tight with just the essentials on my table. I hindsight I wish I ordered one with some storage under the table. That being said this still works well and fits into my space well.

This is great desk or table for the price but they are similar to IKEAs quality where the table top is laminated with compressed wood inside. If the table top was a solid wood, it would have been much more expensive.

Just be careful with the table top as it can crack or dent when dropped or bumped with something.
Other than the table top material, its a great desk and you really cant get a 55 desk at this price anywhere.
I still recommend this desk. You just have to be aware that table top is not solid wood and its very similar to table top you would get at IKEA.
This Samtra computer desk is a very basic no frill desk. This desk is a decent option if you’re looking for something to use temporarily or to have in a guest room. The assembly is very straightforward, you have your legs, supporting frames, and the desktop. It took me less than 45 minutes to put everything together. Overall the desk seems pretty sturdy and should be able to handle a good amount of weight on it. Personally, I think the desktop color looks better in the picture than in person. My desktop was a bit scratched up, probably from the screws rolling around when in transit. But since I’m going to have a giant mouse pad covering most of the desk it’s not a huge issue for me.

- The build quality is very good and it is very sturdy. Downside is it is quite heavy.
- Good size for home use. 47 x 24 is perfect as a computer desk.
- Fairly simple to install with few steps. However, it is not easy to install due to its weight.
- I felt the price is on the expensive side and should be lowered.
- The steel frame improve the stability but it also increase the thickness of the board. As a result, I cannot install my monitor stand.

Desk came in a day late its OK it happens. Easy to assemble. Desk was exactly the measurements shown in description. I was skeptical about the height but it was fine in the end. I did not use the middle piece of wood just to put my gaming pc and it worked perfectly. I recommend this if you have a small area like I do.

Good desk nice touching
One corner of the table was damaged during transport. Other than that it’s a great desk. Feels great when touching the top.
