Wrong part included, can’t be assembled. 5 and 5a are identical in my box. This makes it actually impossible to assemble. Very disappointed.
This is a large, sturdy, and heavy desk. We were looking for a desk to add more desktop space and didnt want a whole full desk with drawers rather something that would just elegantly sit on the side of the office.
The first thing I noticed before even opening the box was that this is a hefty desk that comes in at about 45 lbs. The top of the desk it solid and the metal frame is really sturdy.
I like both the style and support of the horizontal supports across the bottom and how they make the desk super solid and ok to move around even when loaded with things on top.
Overall very happy with the SAMTRA Computer Desk, Modern Simple Style Desk for Home Office, Sturdy Writing Desk (55inch, Oak).
I am a left handed person and I love that I have a space to write on! This desk has a removeable monitor table which is very nice because I can move it from side to side. I like how I can store my label printer, ink jet printer and other items below. I wish it had a drawer ( only down side) I am short so leg room is never an issue for me. I am very happy with this desk so far. The headphone holder on the side is a nice touch as well.
