I just put this together and it went pretty smoothly. I am using this inside my existing bed frame. It is a drop-in replacement for the wood slats that I took out. Now, the mattress and all body weight is supported directly by the platform on the floor, and the bed frame is bearing zero weight. That means...silence. No more creaks!
This went together quick, the metal appears to be solid, and robust for the twin XL. The wooden slats appear to be sanded and I presume are supposed to be as Bendy as they are
This thing is heavy duty!!! Yet without being super heavy in weight. The instruction were simple and easy. I wish I could have seen more detail in the illustrations, but I was able to figure out based on the wording alone. The value on this product is a five star plus, durable and yet is built with nice fit and finish.
