It was very easy to assemble, directions were accurate and the end product fit perfectly in the mud area I built. I sit on it to put on and take off my shoes everyday. Very sturdy. I even put in separators during the assembly process so that I could use it to put shoes into. I highly recommend this item, you wont be disappointed! I would buy again!
Its just what its advertised to be / a particle board unit. It looks fine. I wish it were made of lumber instead of particle board. I recommend you have a friend help assemble it. I didnt, at first, and roached one of the peg holes. Fortunately it is out of sight, and doesnt affect the overall strength of the unit. I ordered baskets to fit the s, from . Hope they fit. I want to use all the space possible, and leave as little wasted space as possible. I would say go ahead and get this. Its strong enough for an adult bench, and looks fine in my country house (which has white woodwork, etc) Youd definitely want to make a padded cushion for the top if using it as a bench, though. I anticipate using mine more as a table and storage unit, but will have seat cushions handy in case I need added seating / / perfect for kids. Nice size.
This bench was easy enough to put together, even with two little kids trying to help. It looks great in the living room; we use it for extra seating or for our girls tea parties. For anyone looking for bins that fit, these are prefect! Overpriced a bit.
Wish it had shelves. Filled it with bentonite storage boxes that holds our shoes. Works for us! Be careful not to over tighten ones on top. Cushion hides it nicely if you do. (Holds two with combined weight of 360 pounds) Go for it!
Nice looking and I only cursed and screamed once while I was putting it together. (I put the partitions in upside down and had to start over.) Enough strength.
I purchased this as a small seat for my foyer. I can sit on it and it feels very sturdy. I keep a canvas box in one of the openings for all my dog supplies (brushes, nail clippers, waste bags) and in the other I keep seasonal stuff (flip flops in the summer and gloves/hat in the winter). My purse sits on top of the bench. It looks very nice and goes with my other decor. It was a little confusing to put together because it wasnt clearly labeled, but it wasnt terrible. You could easily add a cushion to the top to make it more comfortable and a place to put shoes on and off for kiddos. The compartments would easily hold multiple kids shoes. Easy to fix.
We purchased this item to serve as a bookcase in our daughters room. It looks great and works perfectly to hold toys and books. Would definitely buy again. Very good.

It was missing a small piece but it wasnt a necessary piece for the bench to be completed. Its good for storage and for sitting. We use it to keep our kids shoes in. The squares provide a great place to put baskets or bins. Updated review
