I expected a memory foam-style grown up bean bag based on the size, description and (clearly) adult sized model in the product photo. And to that end, the beanbag chair itself is consistent with the listed dimensions. However, unfortunately in our house of grown up kids nobody could fit comfortably in this chair long enough to get through entire match of Mario Kart or Smash Brothers. I think that younger (less than 4 feet tall / under 100lbs) would very likely fit more comfortably and love the chair for hanging out, reading, TV, playing video games etc....
The chair itself seems very well made and constructed with quality materials. It is quite large and unwieldy once it comes out of the box. I suggest using haste to get the cover on as the bag expands rapidly once its unleashed from its shipping carton. At full size, it looks a bit lumpy and odd shaped. It definitely wont win any suave modern furniture awards, but weve already established this belongs in a kids play room anyway! For fun kids seating, its a grand slam. We are taking ours to our middle school to let the kids have a cool place to read in our classroom after morning lessons

Inside that carton, youll find TWO zippered bags. One is the dark suede-textured seat cover. The other is a cheap, disposable container for the highly compressed mass of memory foam.
To assemble the seat, zip open the disposable bag, remove the foam and (quickly!) stuff it into the suede cover. Within a few days, the foam volume dramatically expands to fill the cover, You can speed up the process by kneading (or kicking, or rolling around) the cover. If theres a kid in the house, they wont be able to resist doing this.
Fully expanded, the seat offers a comfortable, inviting place to flop. Despite its size, its surprisingly lightweight and easy to move around.
Perfect for a college dorm room, if theres enough floor space, and you dont mind sacrificing half of your cars beack seat to transport it.
Firm and good support. But it doesnt feel like a bean bag chair at all. More like a giant cotton bag. If I want to change position or shape of the chair, I need to get up, slightly lift and shake the whole thing (so it puffs up a little more), and throw myself into the desired position. While having memory foam may be a good thing, I miss the good old bean bag chair.
One more thing, this chair is smaller than I expected. I am 5 foot tall and about 100 pounds. The chair is a good fit for me, but not for anyone bigger. My husband feels very awkward sitting in it.
This Memory Foam Bean Bag is well worth the money and truly a great buy for any room. This came wrapped in a plastic which was in a cloth zippered bag. You do need to be careful opening the zipper since it can get stuck with the plastic beneath and cause problems. I wish they had a warning there because once stuck, it is really hard to get it moving. The outer cover was separate and it was real easy to put on the bean bag and it is great that you can just throw that in the wash when dirty. The bean bag took shape within a few minutes and it is super comfortable. We have ours in a game room and the kids love lounging on it. The color Charcoal is as shown and a great neutral. Love it and highly recommend it!
