I agree with everyone else posting that the directions are hard to understand if youre not used to putting furniture together. If youve ever put together another piece of furniture though / you should be fine. Also make sure you have someone else to help you get it in the house! The overall size of the box combined with the weight make it very difficult for even two people to carry.
I knocked one star because Im disappointed with the supports for the mattress. If anyone (including my 5 y/o nephew) sits on the middle of the bed / the two support plank pieces bend under the weight. I believe this should have one extra support running along the center of the bed lengthwise to help prevent that from happening. Ill be adding some extra support just to make sure.
Otherwise everything seems good. Nothing was broken, damaged, or missing. Youre getting what you pay for / its a value bed, dont expect it to be made out of all hardwood. If you are expecting that you need a reality check. I totally recommend it
This came with broken boards. The box was dented but never thought boards could get broke, they are picking up and we are getting a new one but imagine how disappointed my grand daughter was,yet.
This is a good bed. The lower rating comes from the fact that we have moved it (just from room to room) 3 times since purchasing it. (September 2015).
Once everything is removed and you are down to the frame it is rather flimsy. We flip it on the back side (opposite of the drawers) and then lift it by the side walls to reduce the stress of its own weight from gravity. With this, we have had no issues otherwise and it works great for our son when he is back from College!That was a problem!!
The bed itself feels very sturdy and well built. Assembly took two of us around 30 minutes from unbox to completely built. Our son has put it through the wringer and it has shown no wear and tear. The drawers are spacious and plenty of storage. Shipping only took around a week to get to the house. simple yet awesome design
Great for the price. Comes with both white and light wood colored knobs for the drawers, so you can choose which you prefer. Sturdy and has held up well. The drawers are also very spacious. cant praise it enough!
Some of the drawers are coming apart already. It can be repaired but this should not happen in the small amount of time we had it. Im fairly disappointed.
