Best bed decision yet! I was a bit skeptical buying a bed online, but this surpassed our expectations. Mostly hardwood, clear instructions, no missing pieces. Every part fits neatly under the bed, or the bookshelf and dresser can stand alone. Took my husband and me 3 hours to put together. Great buy! Perfect and Sturdy.
Our daughter loves her new bed! We purchased this as an upgrade from her toddler bed for her 5th birthday. We decided to surprise her with it, so my husband and I assembled it while she was at school. It definitely took the whole day, but it was well worth it. For now we have the dresser in her closet, and have left the underneath open as a reading nook until she gets older. I went a little overboard at tjmaxx with some fun accessories, and she absolutely loves it. During her birthday party she was even conducting special tours of her room, to show off her new big girl bed.
The wood is a little soft, so I suggest carefully unpacking and laying out the items, and also be careful when assembling. Taking a little extra time to be careful ensured we didnt scratch or damage any pieces. I wish the weight limit was a little higher, but it seems extremely sturdy and works well for our purpose. My 2 year old son is able to climb up, and loves playing on her bed, so I do keep her room locked now while shes at school, and I foresee buying another one for his room in a couple years. Do the work.
