Love the color, swivel and style of this chair. The seat is hard and the small is almost intolerable. I have placed the chair outside for 2 days and it hasnt help. I would not buy this chair based on the smell. Otherwise, I would be happy with the purchase.
I like the chair. It looks nice but it is not very comfortable for long periods if time. It also has a much smaller seat then I was expecting. You cannot sit cross cross in it like some reviews suggest I dont think itll last more than a few years!

Secondly, I am only 5 foot. I somehow found a chair that is too small for me. As I sat all the way back, only half my legs were on the seat. Since you cannot adjust the height of this, your legs might dangle and it may become more uncomfortable.
The chair had enough cushion that it did not hurt. Definitely not something you should sit on for hours. Its not the kind of chair where you would lean back and kick your feet up as there is not much support or flexibility to the body. its difficult to put together.
I purchased this a desk chair wanted something nice for my office in my living space. Very easy to assemble which was great, color not 100 as expected looks more teal in the photo. The back of the chair is comfortable but the seat pis not as comfortable as i would have liked especially for the price. Overall happy with the purchase. I was actually pretty disappointed.

/ it looks just like the photos. The grey color was on point and the wood legs were not cheap looking!
/ very easy to put together. I put it together in about 20 mins.
/ it actually feels pretty sturdy
/ it wasnt available for prime shipping so I wasnt expecting to have to at my house for at least two weeks but to my surprise it was delivered within three days of ordering!

/ its not the most comfortable. Specifically the backing of the chair is so short I couldnt imagine having to sit on it for very long.
/ its a pretty small chair
For reference Im more plus size. Im 59 and around 200lb and I dont think anyone who is bigger then that could fit in this chair comfortably.
The final verdict, I am returning it which Im sad about because it is super cute and Im losing out on money having to ship it back which sucks.
I think if you arent going to be spending long periods of time sitting in it and youre a smaller human, then this might be the chair for you

I wanted an office chair without wheels and the Mid/Century Modern chair is stylish and fit my needs. Assembly was easy and done in 10/minutes, but I give it only 4/stars in this regard as several of the holes were miss aligned a tiny fraction and the bolts had to be tapped through with a hammer (which is not provided). The chair is great looking in person and I give its appearance 5/stars. Comfort is where the chair is lacking. The padding is almost nonexistent and it feels like you are siting on flat plywood (1/star). The only way to make this chair comfortable after a few short minutes is to add an external seat pad which ruins the stylish look. The chair return was very easy and top rating to support. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I really love the look of this chair and the fact that it swivels. I wish it was more comfortable and had more cushion in the seat. may be returning
