I am very happy and impressed with the quality and look! I bought this for my adorable granddaughters as a surprise. My son was very concerned when he read the reviews on how difficult it was to assemble, took us three hours and we were watching tv, it was a breeze. Everything is very well labeled, fit together perfectly and looks beautiful. I highly recommend!
Needs better instructions!!!! When put together all was good other than the top safety railing is not stable at all. Overall the product is great specially for the price just takes more time to put together due too the instructions. Id give it a 3 star overall it would be a 5 star if A. Better instructions. B. The top railing was stable. C. The markings on the furniture too figure out which piece is which was put on better.
Over time it can easily scratch up and dent, it wobbles a lot when you move on the bed (I weigh 115 pounds) but I like the bed. It's very pretty, the desk is huge, and it makes my room more spacious. Also there was complications with delivery (it was delayed a day) and when I'm standing up under the bed I have to have my head down so I don't smack it with the bed (I'm 51).
It comes with a lot of pieces, I hired a person to put it together and he did it in about 2 and a half hours. My son loved it and so did I. Very good purchase and excellent value for money
This bed and desk combo is perfect for our high schooler! The desk is really large...72x24...which he loves for gaming! The tuck under desk gives him a sense of privacy...and the 483.00 price tag for the dark wood stain is unbeatable. It's sturdy, stylish for a young male and a great price to boot!!!Delivery was on schedule and it came in a compact box that was easily manageable for two people.
This is a great bed I put together for my 10 yr old and he could not be happier.
The rail does not stand up very far however, so be sure your mattress is not thicker than 6.
My son's mattress is 11 so I had to add a rail above the existing to go up another 6 so he could not roll off.
I would advise having 2 people put this together and carry the box. I had to unpack it from off my truck rather than carry as it is pretty hefty. It took me around 4-6 hours on and off to assemble it as I was on my own.
The material is sturdy and the packaging assures it is not damaged.

Whoever designed the manufacturing and packaging of this loft bed has a mind like a computer. A remarkably efficient package. There was not an extra screw or piece of packing material to be found. Every piece lined up without exception. Id give the directions a B-. If you have more than a thimble of mechanical ability you should have no trouble assembling it.
Cons:
The price jumps around daily. I pulled the trigger at $327.50. Ive seen it go over $600. I think its a good value anywhere in the range.
I did have two double threaded metal sleeves pull out of the wood. The threads are opposite on the outside and fit the attached screws (righty tighty) on the inside threads. I figured out by using a small screw I could replace them into their fittings easily.
Also, I did benefit from a rubber mallet assembling the large desk piece, and an electric drill installing the slats.
Rubber wood, this is the first time Ive heard of it or used it. Its soft like pine. Thats not a bad thing, its just not hardwood. for those who mentioned smell, it briefly had the smell of painted wood… Exactly what you would expect. Regarding imperfections, I found the product well manufactured and without functional or notable cosmetic issues. If youre looking for perfect drop $3000 at a retail store.

Check your mattress thickness first!
