We bought this for my 95 yr old mother in law. I am a nurse and had several concerns about how the lift chairs worked, but it worked absolutely perfectly for her. No more pain in her knees and she doesnt have to put as much pressure on her arms. The recliner reclines quite far back and she says it is very comfortable. We ended up buying a second one for my mom. I would recommend this for an elderly person who is not super wide - not a huge chair, and needs help standing. I've shopped around for months and you will not get a better chair for the price. Assembly took less than 10 min. So simple.
Ordered this after abdominal surgery. Made life so much easier to be able to get up and down without having to bother my family. I actually slept on it for over a week. I do wish the controls had longer cords, but it was awesome for my needs.
It shipped quickly and arrived quickly. It comes pretty much assembled aside from sliding the back into it and plugging in some wires. There's only a single page of instructions and only 1 side to the page so it's pretty simple. There's a couple zip ties holding the cords to the base that I cut (DON'T CUT THEM) I saw a sticker afterwards that tells you not to or the wires will get ripped out of the motor when the chair raises up. So I had to put some more zip ties on it but otherwise it was easy to put together.
The cons... there's 2 remotes with individual wires attached to them, the massage wire is considerably shorter than the foot/back recline remote. They both will easily become tangled in blankets if you not careful.
There are 2 different power cords as well. 1 for the heat/ massage, the other for the chair itself. Again, the massage cord is considerably shorter than the cord for the base. I'll have to use an extension cord and plug everything under the chair so there aren't a bunch of wires laying on the floor. If you're going to put it against a wall this won't be a problem for you.
The recline/ foot functions are a bit slow.
All in all I'm happy with it so far. It looks nice and everything that was supposed to be there was. Everything works as well. I can't say anything about durability yet since I just got it today.

chair
my grandma loves this chair
Right arm is loose and wobbly.
No cable management. The left arm feels like it's attached to the frame. The right arm couldn't withstand any weight. Will fail.
