We hunted around and sat in at many lift recliners and finally purchased this chair. My husband had spinal surgery six weeks ago and needed something that would be comfortable and also be useful during his recovery. He's 6' and weighs 220-lbs and finds this chair high enough on his neck and shoulders and long enough on his legs so that he fits in it. The added lumbar and head lift along with the power remote are another reason he purchased this chair. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high back, comfortable recliner.
I live in my recliner 24/7. I sleep in my recliner due to medical conditions. I find it more comfortable due to sinus, heart condition, bad back, arthritis. I always found with a regular recliner I was always trying to adjust with pillows to get comfortable. With my new recliner with four motors to adjust height, lumbar, headrest and foot rest I can completely adjust for comfort with a push of a button. I even got rid of my office chair and moved my recliner into my library so I can work on my computer and stream TV and movies. I always had rocking recliners and I thought I would miss rocking but I dont because of the complete adjustability. When I am working on my computer for instance I can raise the seat up high so I am in between siting and standing and I find it very comfortable and easier to work.
It is less expensive buying this recliner from than the manufacture. However it will be delivered into your house but you have to unbox it and put it together. Ashley will do the same for you with no delivery charge but it is still more expensive to buy.
They will bring it in and set it up for a delivery charge. Mine was a repack so I was able to get the drivers to open it for me to inspect to make sure it was ok.
There were no instructions to put it together. I was able to go on
you-tube and find instructions to put it together.
I can't say enough for how much I like this chair. I gives you all the ways to position it you need. Leg rest goes up and down. Back goes up and down. Headrest goes up and down. Even a lumbar support that goes in and out. And they are all electric. And it will lift you up to get out of it if you need that. When your old like me and you need to reposition all the time because you hurt, it's a life saver. Well worth it. I couldn't find anything near as good for any where close to the same cost.
This is a solid, comfortable chair, for about $300 less than my local store. Im pretty heavy, but it provides good support. It took a little more than two weeks to arrive, and the delivery was just inside the front door, which was quite acceptable to me. The best feature is the ability to adjust the foot position completely independent from the back position. Most motorized chairs combine these functions with a single motor, so it can be difficult (imposssible!) to get the position you want.
The chair is nice looking and just what is needed after my shoulder surgery. Not quite as well padded as some recliners I have had but was easy to assemble and I am glad I bought it.
This chair was priced right but not suitable for me , the back of the chair was for a taller person not comfortable enough to me, the foot length when extended was too short not enough for my legs and feet and the width of the chair was not roomy enough for me didnt measure up at all for me that is.
Product is fine. The assembly is easy. However, it did not have the correct plug lines illustrated in the directions for the heat and massage wired remote. Pictured are the plug set ups that arrived and notice the red and white plugs inside the chair.
There is no apparent customer service to contact to simply get the correct parts.
When I removed the plastic I found 3 small tears. They will not show and the chair is needed immediately so I am going to keep it but disappointed in quality.
We received the chair pretty quickly, in two separate boxes. It was relatively easy to put together, taking only 20 minutes or so. It is a smaller chair than the other recliner we had, but it has a nice feature of cupholders in the arms and the arms are sturdier. The massage and heat functions work well. I bought this for my 93-year-old father. He was leaning over in the other chair because it was so big, he doesnt lean in this chair. If he were a bigger person he would probably not fit into this chair, it seems to be for smaller people. I like this chair.
