I got this bunk bed for my 2 kids and they fought over the top bunk because it has a window. I made a second window for the bottom bunk to match the top. I had to go buy some bolts from lowes for the new windows but that wasn't too hard. I got some boards and made the specs exactly to match. Kids stopped fighting over the top bunk now. I even got a few shower curtain rods and bought a kids curtain and hung the curtain to the side of the bunk bed using the rods and now the kids have a big tent with 2 windows. Last but not least I painted just the 2 windows to whatever color the kids wanted before I attached them of course. They love this thing.
Good value.
Its solid wood - not a hardwood, but with decent cuts and finish. The hardware provided is sturdy enough, the screws are ferrous but the pins / brackets are not. The slats are secured with screws unlike other beds that use flexible plastic pieces that tear if theyre removed. The instructions were simple to follow. The packaging placed the slats on the outside, thus properly cushioning the nicer parts from shipping box tears and bumps (I had one, no real damage).
One negative - the pieces are labeled with convenience store style price labels, which are a nightmare to remove. I tried the edge of a credit card, with adhesive left behind. I tried a hairdryer (pictured) but even peeling with my fingernail compressed the wood a bit and the paper disintegrated. I tried using alcohol pads to wipe away the adhesive, but that started affecting the finish. Finally, I scraped off with a credit card and pecked at the adhesive with packing tape until it came off. Easily added 15 mins to the assembly, and I gave up on the labels that would be hidden by the mattress. Hope this gets back to the manufacturer - Id rather have no labels than these time suckers.
All in all, Id recommend this for its primary purpose - a guest bed that needs to look decent but not be too expensive.
Sooooo like most people I read a lot of reviews before buying. The window frame is NOT secured, I added 4 long screws drilling it from the outside of frame. Also I went to Lowes and bought a thick wood to go under the mattress on top of the slacks. I drilled it to the side. The entire bed shacks, however I made a 230lbs male get in the bed and lay down before I but the kids in it.
Its in my 2 year old sons bedroom, easy to set up. Wish the mattress that is supposed to come with it wasnt so expensive , its a certain size mattress not just a toddler bed mattress. Looks Very cute tho

Beautiful! Very easy to build and good quality
Good for the Price
Not a great quality furniture, but at least it's not bad. Considering the price, it is satisfying.
Great purchase!
Very sturdy bed set. Took 3-4hours to put together though, by hand. No drill.
Cute
