My 8 yr old loves the new desk. It took almost 2 hours to assemble as there are many parts, just follow the instructions Once assembled it felt very solid as I moved it into place. Our cats like it too.
This desk was purchased after weeks of shopping around comparing. Weve only just received it, so I cant speak to the longevity. Its clean simple, yet has plenty going for it. The initial quality is impressive. Just taking it out of the package, you could feel the quality weight of the materials. The back panel of the drawer/shelf/pc cubby is much more thick solid than you usually see with these type of desks. It wasnt the thin, flimsy, paperboard youd expect. Its a 1/4 inch thick made of pressboard. It also has nice sized ventilation/cable slots in the back panel. The drawer bottom is made of the same, sturdy 1/4 inch thick material as well. Assembly was fairly straight forward, however, theres a lot of connections, which helps make the desk very sturdy, but its also very time consuming to put together.
I could fit a standard mid/tower, sitting on 1/inch legs under the drawer, but just barely. Thankfully, the bottom of the drawer sits 2 inches above the top PC fan. There is also about 4.5 inches between the side of the PC the side of the desk. Plenty of for ventilation.
Overall, very satisfied.
Would buy again.

When it arrived, she insisted on putting it together herself. She completed it in about 2 hours with only minor assistance to hold a couple of boards in place!

Ive purchased a lot of inexpensive, self assemble furniture products. This is the first where Ive encountered an issue. On the left side panel, the holes for the bolts are not properly aligned with the cam holes on the back support panel. The top of the support panel is not flush with the top of the side panel and protrudes 3/8. Therefore the desktop will not be able to be attached properly. The online support web address provided takes me to page not found so I used the customer service email address included with the product (since a ph number for customer service was not provided). Received an automated response that the office is closed (today is Saturday 3/30) and that they will respond on the next business day. Needless to say I am quite disappointed. If the company does not send replacement parts that fit properly, I will be returning this product.
Update: Wednesday (4/3) I Received a response from customer service stating they have ordered a replacement part to be shipped to me. In 3/5 days I should find whether or not this new piece fits properly.
Final update: Friday (4/5) the replacement part was awaiting me when I arrived home. The part fit perfectly and the remaining assembly went quickly and smoothly.
Updated my rating to four stars. It is a great desk for the price and is easy to assemble. The company was great with solving the issue I did have and did it promptly. The only reason Im withholding star is because it would have been preferable to have had all the parts in the original delivery manufactured correctly and not had a delay in finishing the assembly.
Ive assembled my fair share of Ikea style assemble it yourself furniture. Typically theyre made out of a lightweight, thin particle board, with a papery wood decal over it. I was pleased to find that wasnt the case with this desk. Its very heavy, to the point I had to help the UPS guy bring it into my apartment. The pieces are a very dense particle board with an almost plastic feeling wood pattern on it. Very solid feeling. And so far n of the weird warping and bubbling particle board gets when its moist.
Inside the box is the usual stuff. All the pieces are numbered, along with the fasteners. What was really unique was the inclusion of spare fasteners. They included an assortment, just in case, which saved me when I broke of the pegs for the shelf, and had to use a screw. They even included a screwdriver. Total assembly took about an hour and a half to two hours. The instructions are very clear, with a few mistakes here and there, but easy enough to figure out. Having another person help you would definitely make the job quicker.
My only complaint is the keyboard tray. Im about 510, and constantly bang my knees into it. The only way I can make it usable is to drop my chair so its basically on the floor. I ended up just taking it off and using the work surface for my keyboard, but be warned. You might want to invest in risers of some form if youre dead set on using the keyboard tray.
Other than that small issue, I really cant complain for 100. Definitely recommend.
This desk is aming. The desk came in big box and even had plastic corner protection on the top piece to stop damage. It only took my boyfriend and I an hour and a half to build it. The instructions were very clear, we didnt even have to read them since the pictures were enough. I loved how all sides were finished and it was so easy to put together. The hutch adds lots of and its a pretty big desk size and the wood seems of good material. I love this product so much, totally worth it.
An awesome computer desk for the price. The desks build quality, look, and functionality is great regardless of its low price. Easy to read assemble. Simply cant go wrong buying. Highly recommend for people on a budget or looking to combo a full set of new peices for their home office or room.

Came a day early. Box was in exalent condition. Took my sister and I about two hours to put together. No dents or blemishes. Nice solid desk.
