Bought this for my 11 year old. I read these reviews and I have my suspicions that the s that didnt seem sturdy and collapsed, maybe had some parts not put on correctly. This has cams which have to be put in and tightened correctly. The cams actually make it very sturdy, and the instructions DO explain what you need to know. I found this to be very sturdy and less cheap feeling than the particle board stuff you get from Wal/Mart and the like. This arrived way sor than expected and was packaged well and thoughtfully. There were 2 screw holes that were a few crayons short of the whole box so to speak, but with some force, it was fine. There were spare parts included and even a screw driver! Instructions were easy to understand and 2 of us had it put together in less than an hour. My daughter loves it and I would most definitely recommend this desk!
The size was good. But the quality eh. A piece came in chipped, and 2 of the glider metal pieces were bent. I can still use it but have issues with it.
The desk is pretty good for the price you pay for it. Some of the assembly instructions did not match the labeled parts but it was easy to figure out and get together. Im happy with the purchase
The product came pretty quick, no pieces missing or damaged. Instructions were very easy to follow and pieces were clearly marked. It took me 2 hours to put it together, with the assistance of my 3year oldhahaha, definitely use a powered screwdriver or your arms will be tired before you get it put together. It feels pretty sturdy, fits perfectly in the spot I needed it to, holds my dual 24 monitors and everything I need to work. It was definitely a great purchase for under 100.
I guess its true you get what you payed for it was kind of hard to assemble but im not as good at that anyways the wood feels kinda cheap nd the screws when they lock in feels like u cant get it tight enough thats my only worry when i was putting it together theres a screw nd a lock screw idk how to explain it but they suppose to lock together but overall my kids liked it

Cheap product, boards were uneven, holes were drilled incorrectly. Hard to put together. Packaging made a HUGE mess.
