I think theyve fixed the poor directions.
My concern after reading the other reviews was the difficulty in assembling it. However, I was impressed with how easy it went together. Each piece had a letter or number sticker on it including the individual bags of hardware. The picture directions then used those letters and numbers so no problem when it came to assembling. Even the left upright and the right upright had two different numbers so you wouldnt confuse the two. I hate putting furniture together but this wasnt bad at all.

Holds a ton of shoes and looks great! But make sure you have lots of time to put it together (almost 2hrs). Instructions are a little un clear but as long as this is not your first time putting something together you will be fine. It did come scratched in multiple places though.

Pretty good quality and easy enough to assemble
Pretty good quality and easy enough to assemble. We bought a second one and have them back/to/back and perpendicular to a wall with shoes on one side and stuff on the other side. The only issue is the depth if you have big feet. I wear a 10.5 mens and a few of my shoes dont fit straight in. I have to put them in sideways. If you have larger feet youll definitely have issues. Also, the shelves are not adjustable, so this isnt good for tall boots unless you dont put a shelf in.
Beautiful and functional
Its really nice for shoe storage, and it looks really nice too. Its a bit bigger and heavier than I hoped it would be though. The assembly was very similar to Ikea assembly, so if you can do that it should be no problem. It is not solid wood, but most things arent. It would be nicer as solid wood though, as that would probibly make it lighter. It did have a couple of small visual defects, but you have to be looking at it really up close to notice. I didnt see the instructions at first, but I eventually found them in between 2 pieces of styrofoam. Ive attached the instructions for anyone else who needs them.
