I am also considering re/purposing them for small batches of candy/cookies for Christmas exchange. Pop a red or green bow and they will be ready to go/nicely sealed to ensure freshness.
I only rated this a 4 because of the shipping used. When packed in the box, USPS must not have read the Fragile on the side and played kick ball with the box all the way to my door! Two of the container side locks were broken beyond repair, however, my husband had other plains for those two anyway.
I bought these to help organize my painting and other crafting supplies and they were just right. I mean, literally, just the right fit for the space I had. The lids with handles are nice, and the lids snap on and are secure.

Love these they seem air water tight, latches take strength
