I bought this to replace my old office chair. Its a really good value. I am 55/200lbs and sit comfortably in this with my feet flat on the floor in the lowest position. From floor to bottom of desk is 28.5 inches and it is comfortable to type on keyboard and recline with feet on desk. Floor to top of armrest is 25 inches. Fits my custom desk perfectly.
These chairs a very comfortable and affordable. I am 5 8 and I fit in the chair just fine. It is a mid back chair so some people are saying its too small. Order a high back chair if you think thats a problem. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Well, Covid. I got this because Im often working at the dining/room table and know that the dining room chairs are a bit low for me for that task. I do have a proper office chair in the room thats my office, but it was cumbersome to move it back and forth. This does not go with the dining room in any way, but I dont care for now.
Its the right chair for what I wanted. We are large people, and the seat is pleasantly wide and the chair goes high enough. The only adjustment is up and down, but again, thats an improvement over the dining room chairs. Its handy that it doesnt have arms, since it does slide under the dining room table easily. Rated for 275lbs, which is more than we need to worry about.
This did not come with assembly instructions, but Ive put together office chairs before, so it wasnt a big deal. But it could be a bit confusing, so heres the scoop:
1. put the caster wheels into their slots in the base. You have to push hard to get them to click into their retaining clips
2. put the pneumatic cylinder into the base, with the large side down. It doesnt really click in theres some pressure that will tend to keep it there, but it can come out if you upend the chair.
3. put the seat on top of the pneumatic cylinder (of course, meeting the hole in the right place)
4. Enjoy your chair, including setting the height to where you need it to be.
This chair is what Id call minimal. I dont mean that in a bad way, I mean it in a very good way. Particularly for offices where space is at a premium, this is just the ticket. The seat is comfortably, yet not too cushy. I tend to find that more cushy seats actually tire my bottom out more than a chair like this. Which brings me to the point that, when you have a convertible stand/up desk like I do, this chair easily moves out of your way when you go from sitting to standing. No arms on this chair. The back measures 16 inches high, seat is 16 inches deep, 18 inches wide, and the sitting surface sits 17.5 inches off the ground at the lowest point. It has 4 inches of travel, putting it at 21.5 inches off the ground at the top of its travel. The lever that operates the vertical travel works very well and easily. Its extremely easy to put together, only needing to install the wheels and vertical travel pedestal in the base, the seat part on the pedestal, and thats it.
Made in China.
Assembly required but very easy. Each part was well packed in protective materials like bubble wrap and foam wraps. Arrived in perfect condition without a scratch.
It was a little tricky to insert the wheels to the bottom frame. You have to wiggle a little to find the right angle, then it is very easy to push it in. No tools required. Took me 2 minutes to insert the wheels to the bottom frame and less than a minute to attach the bottom frame, the middle pole and the chair. Total assembly time / 3 minutes. One person job.
Very happy with the quality of the chair. Feel really sturdy. There is a handle under the chair to adjust the height. You can also swivel the chair 360 degrees. The height adjustment, the wheels and the swivel are all very smooth. The faux leather surface looks good. 5 star.

Ok chair if you can deal with this
Im guessing im gonna have to ask for another chair or get a new part sent to me, but that noise is just too much everytime you lean back.
Affordable chair option.
