Full disclosure; mattress hasnt been slept on a full night yet. We inherited a sleeper sofa in great condition from my sister in law after her recent move. I have no idea how old the other mattress was so we just decided to toss it and get a new one. This seemed the best for the money and had the most positive reviews.
It is slightly smaller (width wise) so you have to be careful getting off and on the metal edge of the bed.

I really didn't think this could effectively replace the very old mattress in my sleep-sofa, but it's great. You really can't feel the bar underneath, and the few people who have slept on it said it was comfortable and they got a good night's sleep.

We plan to use this on top of the mattress that came with out fold out couch. Seemed to work great when we tried it that way. Good price. We'll see when some one sleeps the whole night on it.

This exceeded my expectation
