We are in love with this bunk bed. My kids dont want to leave their room. The instruction manual was a little hard to understand at first and we had a some what hard time putting it together. But other than that I am really happy with this purchase.
The bed came in two boxes. It took me, with the help of my 6/year old, about 5 hours to put together. I only need my husband to lift the assembled roof section. I didnt use the bed slats for the bottom bunk, but I added those to the top to make it more sturdy. I used a 12/inch mattress on the bottom, 8/inch on the top. The 12/inch is a little thick, but we already had it from a previous bed. Decent quality. Overall great bed for the price.
This bunk bed is gorgeous, it shipped faster than expected. I will say this is a bare minimum 2 person job. The instructions were clear but it was just an awkward job because the pieces are so big. My kids love it!
I bought this set of bunk beds for our spare room, as we have so many grandchildren. Item description says each bed, upper bunk and lower bunk, will hold 400 pounds. Its very sturdy! My teenage grandson weighs 210 pounds, and with his weight and weight of mattress (I bought hybrid mattresses to lay on the slats) on top bunk, it worked out fine!! I love this set. Lower bunk is big enough that our daughter slept on it with her youngest daughter. Im very pleased with these bunk beds! It takes two people to assemble. My 30 yr old daughter and I put beds together in about an hour. Easy to assemble with two people. Love these beds!
Im not going to say this was a bad buy but you get what you pay for so what. My husband and I were looking for something that would accommodate our children and guest. It is a perfect size, took a long time to assemble directions werent clear, the bone structure isnt sturdy as I thought it would be, there were scratches on the when we first opened the box, the bed was a little lower than we thought. Just a little tab bit nervous if grown ups sleep on the bottom because they are heavier. Overall it was an okay buy I not mad at the purchase just yet.
Husband and I had a very easy time building this. My kids love it and honestly I like this more because its lower to my height where I can see what is going on.
