Goes with any decor. I prefer upscale decor and solid pieces so I was nervous about getting furniture that needed to be assembled. I was so wrong. This is my favorite piece in our livingroom. It LOOKS so custom and solid and not at all shipped and assembled. It looks as though we had it delivered right to our home.
From traditional to modern, this will go with us through the years no matter how we redecorate. The variegated woods make it work with dark or light wood floors or other furniture pieces as well
The only thing that I like about this is how helpful the actual company that made it is. We bought it (1st time) and the longest piece was cracked, sent it back got a replacement. The replacement (2nd time) and again the longest piece was not just cracked but broken, mind you both time the outside packaging was in good condition. I emailed the company because this is ridiculous right!? They thankfully contacted us and sent out a new shelf. The new replacement to the replacement (3rd time) stay with me here, the package on the outside itself was in horrible condition, somewhat cut into, dented in some areas I mean it looked like a mess. However, the whole shelf itself inside the box was all in great condition (compared to the previous two). The company asked me to delete my last review and write a new one. So here it is my new review the shelf itself looks amazing assembled and; for the moment; it is steadily on the wall….not much has been put on top of it for our own fear of it falling and breaking our items that it should hold up. So yes but this shelf bit of something is wrong with it contact the company and not . Because the company will do all it can to. Have a good review…. is trying to make a sale. Theres a difference.
If you're looking for a very unique wall mountable shelf to go under your TV, this is probably it. However, if you were also wanting something that is easy to assemble, this is definitely not easy to assemble. I spent a little over 3 hours assembling this and getting it mounted to the wall, and there really isn't that much to this shelf, it was just that difficult. After attaching the two main pieces together (top and bottom), I had to disassemble the two pieces 3 times just? to get the metal locking rods adjusted so the top and bottom would go together flush. Instead of using traditional locking rod screws without plastic on the ends, the screws included have a plastic cap on the end of them, and the plastic cap goes down into the board and then is screwed in. I noticed these have to be perfectly flush with the board and? perfectly vertically straight too. The instructions are very unclear, and I would rate this installation as medium difficulty. The instructions show pictures and the boards are labeled with numbers but the hardware isn't labeled with numbers. I had to use a process of elimination to figure out the right hardware, and there was even a little hardware left that wasn't explained on what to do with in the manual. Once the shelf is fully assembled, I was pretty happy, but keep in mind it still needs to be mounted to the wall. I found that this was done best by having two helpers hold each end of the shelf while the screws were put into wall. There were two hardware options included for wall mounting. The options were wood screws and lag bolts. The included brass colored wood screws stripped out immediately, so if you decide to use the included brass screws be very cautious. Getting this shelf centered under a TV while getting the screws into wall studs is also a major challenge because the? location of the pre-drilled holes on the shelf.
I want to talk about the size as well. I love how small it is because it's almost like it's not even there taking up space. I have a retractable tv wall mount and when my 60 inch tv is pushed against the wall, this stand sits almost flush with the tv, but just a little further out. Length wise, it's just a little longer than my 60 inch tv. It doesn't hold a lot big items, and is really works best for small items. I tried to put my PS4 in the middle compartment and it wouldn't fit right. I then tried to put in in one of the side pockets and while it will fit a little, it looks like it's going to fall out.? As far as a size reference, the side shelves will hold hold roughly two blu-rays stacked side by side and they can be stacked about 9 blu-rays high on both of the two stacks. It's more difficult to give a size reference for the middle compartment with the door because it has these huge metal hinges inside but it's roughly 3 times the size of one of the smaller side compartments, just keep in mind the door and the hinges slightly affect the depth.

Even as difficult as this shelf was to assemble and mount, I would do it all over again simply due to the unique look that this shelf adds to my room and it's ability to take up very little space under my tv. Don't forget you'll need a drill, possibly a couple hours, and a few helpers.
I am a 30 year old woman and I put it together on my own. Followed the pictures in the instructions and it was easy. No problem what so ever and when I was done it looks great. The light keeps falling like the adhesive glue is not as tight, but nothing gorilla glue cannot help. I love it.
Entertainment center is beautiful once you put it together. Instructions are easy to follow, I would recommend 2 people to put it together. The only reason I dont give it a 5 star is because of the led lights. You can tell The lights was a last minute add on ,there is no designated area for the lights you pretty much have to just wing it. Overall its was a good purchase.
It definitely left my head scratching trying to figure out how to put this thing together. It was challenging because the directions only explained what pieces go where but never really in what order or which direction facing. Especially midway when your setting up the middle and the feet. But overall looks great considering what I payed for it. Looks clean and organized and would recommend it to those who have patience to challenge themselves on assembling this piece.

The system designed to hold this unit to the wall is akin to using paperclips to hold this and your belongings up. The metal that is supposed to hook onto the makeshift French pleat is so malleable that one piece simply bent out of the unit as it started to support the weight of the shelf. I dont like returning items that look severely overused when returned so it is now a raised flower bed in my yard.
I like the look of it. I think is very functional. It is sturdy.
Instructions arent very clear. Also the backing part splits in 2 pieces top (2 first shelves) and one for bottom( which is the biggest) and only the top backing part has ONE hole, which doesnt make sense because the backing part should have a hole for each shelve so the cords con go through. Shelves arent adjustable which is a con for me, but Ill work with it. To install the door we struggle a lot because holes wouldnt match if you didnt have the door propped properly and even after it finally was installed it looks a lil crooked. I like it, I dont love it.

I put it together myself

Great entertainment center
Entertainment center is beautiful once you put it together. Instructions are easy to follow, I would recommend 2 people to put it together. The only reason I dont give it a 5 star is because of the led lights.
